Chapter 412
Agnes looked beat
Her hair was a mess.
Her clothes were tom
There was a trace of blood at the corner of her mouth
It was heartbreaking to see her like this.
Agnes seemed to not hear what Ker said.
She was just zoned out
Kerri didn’t have the heart to ask any further
Brayden whispered to Kerr, “Jared was really rough, wasn’t he? Look at her lips, they’re bloody. Do you think Agnes couldn’t take it and ran away?”
Kemi glared at Brayden. ‘Don’t think everyone else is as dirty–minded as you‘
“What’s so dirty about it? You seemed to enjoy that stuff last night.”
Kem was about to blow a fuse.
On the way, Brayden and Kerri bickered non–stop.
Agnes could tell they had a strong bond.
She was happy for Kerri
Agnes remembered when she didn’t know Kerri was Mrs. Simonds.
She once wished Kerri to get a divorce soon.
If Brayden knew, he’d probably flip.
But Kerri had always been pessimistic about their marriage.
Whenever she was with Agnes, she would grumble about it.
Divorcing soon was almost her catchphrase.
But with time, their relationship improved a lot.
And Agnes, who Kerri used to be envious of, was now actually getting a divorce:
The car finally arrived at Maplewood Manor.
Brayden and Kerri also had a villa here.
Agnes had stayed here when she was mad at Jared, so she knew the place well.
But this villa was not far from her own, it was just hidden behind tall trees. Agnes could only see a comer of it from the top of the roof.
As soon as Kerri and Agnes went upstairs.
Brayden called Jared again.
“What now?” A cold voice came from the other end of the phone.
Brayden was shivering..
“Jared, it’s the holiday, why are you guys fighting? Agnes has a bloody lip, did you go too far? She couldn’t take it? Listen to me, hurry up and apologize. Bring a peace offering. No matter what, apologize first. As a man, you need to know when to bend. It’s your wife, there’s no need to feel shamed.”
