Agnes‘ ears were burning without her realizing it. 

She never saw it coming, that Jared would turn into such a wild card after four years 

Deep down, Agnes knew that Jared was merely trying to embarrass her. 

He just wanted to make her feel like shit. 

He was always on the lookout for ways to get back at her. 

Agnes held it in, then looked up at Jared with a smile, “Mr. Whitfield, I’m sorry, but I’ve got a boyfriend already.” 

Jared’s eyes turned dark, his gaze cold and intimidating. 

His previous words were just a tést. 

He wanted to know what’s the deal between Agnes and the guy he bumped into at the airport. 

Lately, Jared couldn’t get the image of those two out of his head. 

What was even weirder was that Leo couldn’t find anything on that guy. 

Couldn’t find out who he was or where he came from. 

What did that mean? 

It meant this guy was no ordinary Joe, he probably wasn’t some regular dude living a normal life. 

Agnes was innocent and didn’t have lots of dating experiences. 

How did she manage to attract a guy like that? 

Jared even started to wonder, all these years, he got zero intellon Agnes, could it be this guy was obstructing him? 

But no matter who that guy was, as long as Jared knew that this guy had been around Agnes for the past four years, it was like a thorn in his side, like a fishbone stuck in his throat. 

It was almost unbearable. 

Jafed glared coldly at Agnes, “I don’t care, Agnes. You owe me, and you’re gonna pay me back, in your own way. As for the rest, I really don’t give a damn.” 

He was lying through his teeth when he said he didn’t care. 

But right now, he needed to keep Agnes close. 

He couldn’t let her slip away from him again. 

As for the men by her side, he was going to take them out one by one. 

Agnes, you’re not going anywhere for the rest of your life. 

Even if it meant they’d be torturing each other in hell for the rest of their days, Jared would never let her go! 

Agnes‘ smile broadened, “Mr. Whitfield, you may not care, but I do. I won’t do anything to betray my boyfriend.” 

“Agnes, I forbid you from having a boyfriend!” 

As he said it, Jared felt like a total fool.
