The moment the words left Bianca's mouth, she vanished in a flash.
The rest of the special demon class followed suit by leaving the class and rushing toward the training ground from before.
Shannon stood there and appeared to be waiting for them.
Bianca actually felt happy to see her, but she'd never admit that. Instead, she snapped, "What happened! You said you'd come the next day, but it's been three days! Do you not take us seriously?"
Shannon's expression remained calm as she met Bianca's gaze. "I had something to take care of."
She didn't explain what. Instead, she looked at Bianca and the demons behind her and continued, "You said I'd have to fight again the next day. I'm ready. Who's next?"
The special demon class didn't expect her bluntness, and even Bianca was briefly stunned.
Denim scoffed. "You think you can fight whenever you feel like it? The special demon class has its rules, and since you're three days late, you have to fight three matches to qualify for enrollment!"
There was no such rule, and Denim just wanted to knock Shannon down a peg.
But Shannon didn't flinch even in the face of his provocative words. Instead, she gave it some thought and nodded. "I'm fine with three fights."
She came here today to fight anyway.
For three days, she'd thought about it a lot. She'd been thinking about Benjamin and the look in his eyes when they met again. Luke's words had lingered in her mind.
There was a surge of frustration inside her that she struggled to release, and she didn't know where she could vent it out either.
But one thing was clear. She would not give up on Benjamin, or to be exact, she could not give up on him.
Before seeing him again, she had to clear her mind and take out her frustrations on something. And this was the perfect place.
