Glenn never thought he would have a day like this.

Emma had always been chasing after him and pestering him. Even if she was treated so roughly, she had never left. The eyes that used to look at him ardently were no longer affectionate. Instead, they were full of fear and indifferent.

Looking at Emma, who once again hid herself like a frightened rabbit because of his proximity, Glenn's heart felt hurt.

He used to dislike her, and he didn't cherish her until he had lost her.

"Emma, come here." He crouched down slowly and called her softly.

Emma, with her arms around her knees, looked at him with her flustered eyes.

This kind of situation had been going on for ten days.

Glenn couldn't help but thought of what the doctor said.

Generally speaking, victims are selectively afraid of people or things that hurt her too much, so the doctors advised Glenn to stay away from Emma as much as possible to avoid aggravating her condition.

Glenn smiled bitterly. He put the dinner on the table of the room, and left with reluctance.

Glenn saw Emma eating through the window, she was looking around cautiously as she eating. Glenn felt hurt again. He pushed away the man who wanted to clean up the plate and said lightly, "Don't scare her. Let her stay for a while."

Then, as if thinking of something, he turned to his men and asked, "Has the company been taken care of?"

He hadn't been idle these days. He sold the shares of his branch company, turned them around, and spent all the money he got on charity.

The shares he held of the head company were all transferred to Emma.

People of the board of directors strongly opposed, but Glenn had forced them to agree.

He owed Emma too much. If he could get Emma to recover by leaving himself nothing, he was willing to do so.

"Yes, boss." Said by his subordinate.

Glenn was satisfied, and there was a strange smile on his face.

"Now that it's all done, let's settle the last thing."

Inside the gloomy prison, Jamie, who was handcuffed, was taken to a small room.

The man sitting opposite was the one who he was eager to defeat in his whole life.

"Long time no see. I hope that you are well. Mr. Stewart."

The light in the prison didn't seem to be very bright. Jamie saw Glenn sitting opposite to him.

"It's you!" He immediately wanted to attack Glenn, but two warders pressed him hard on the chair.

Jamie looked at Glenn with an extraordinary anger.

"Don't be so excited, be careful of bursting blood vessel." Glenn waved, and the two warders pressing Jamie released their hands and went back to the door.

Jamie gasped, "They are also your men?"
