Thankfully she smiled and nodded. "Of course. You know it will be extremely painful to be such a distance away from your mate right? I'm not saying you should go back to Blaine, I just don't want to see my best friend suffering."

"I'll be fine Tilly, I promise. Are you sure Bryson won't mind? He's pretty stern and serious." We both laughed.

"I'll make sure of it, so don't worry about it. What are you going to do about Blaine though? You're going to have to contact him and tell him what you're planning on doing and I'm pretty sure he won't be overjoyed with you staying here."

I rolled my eyes when she mentioned Blaine, I knew he wouldn't be happy with my idea. Just like my wolf and I, Blaine and his wolf were able to feel the immense force of my heat, his body would react similar to mine but he didn't feel pain meaning he could only know when my body was craving his.

It was being to get dark outside when the sound of a door opening startled us. "It's only Bryson." Tilly grinned before rushing out to greet her mate. I felt jealously, and my mind drifted to my own mate.

'Blaine?'I called through our mate link. He had been trying to contact me since I left but I ignored him, he would only order me back.

Throughout the day I felt him attempting to push past the mind block I had built up.

'Kennedy? Where are you right now?' He demanded, his voice was telling me to answer him truthfully.

'Blaine I'm fine. I think we should be apart for a few days until my heat is gone.'

'No. I can feel how physically painful this heat is for you. It's making me feel extremely stressful knowing that you won't let me help you. So where are you? And if you don't tell me then I'm going to search and you won't like it when I catch up to you.'

I sighed to myself, blocking him from talking to me for a few minutes wanting him to calm down. When I finally dropped the block Blaine was ordering me in Alpha tone to tell him where I was.

'I'm not telling you Blaine, please just respect that this is what I want. I know that our wolves will eventually take over and force the mating if I was to be with you right now. I'm not ready for that yet, and if you cared for me enough then you would accept that I'm not ready.'

A low growl passed through our mind link as my words annoyed Blaine and he was letting me know that he was beginning to feel irritated. 'Kennedy,'He warned, dominance slipping through his tone.

'We wouldn't be in this situation if you hadn't marked me, so don't growl at me. Let me be away from you for a few days until my heat passes, we can still talk through our link.'
