Her Brutal Alpha novel Chapter 4

"Let me go!" I whined as he gripped me tighter around my waist to keep me locked there while pressing me closer to his chest.

"No. You're my mate." He growled, taking in deep breaths to calm his wolf. He didn't like the fact that I wanted out of his arms.

Wolves are very big on companionship, and very territorial, especially Alphas.

I knew the story about how my parents met, that my dad rejected my mom and left her pregnant with me unknowingly. How they accidently bumped into each other four years later, and my dad discovering he had a daughter. Forcing my mother to come back to his territory, promising her to never let her go as she was his like he was hers. She soon gave up fighting him and fell in love with the man she always wanted.

I wasn't going to reject Blaine; I just wasn't ready to be fully his yet. I knew he would be a protective and possessive mate, only wanting me to be by him. Whereas I would want to stay on my father's land and attend college before mating and becoming the Luna of his pack.

"I'm not anyone's possession, Blaine. Let me go, I want to go home." I said. I wanted to curse our mate connection, I was hoping I wouldn't find my mate until I was in my mid-twenties.

He looked at me intently before looking over my shoulder. I was too focused on Blaine to notice the 5 pack wolves that I met earlier, were standing behind us the whole time.

"Adrian, I need you to call off the trackers seeing as we've found the trespasser." Blaine ordered his Beta.

Ah so that's his name; Adrian. "Okay Alpha, what are you doing with..." He trailed on looking at me.

"My house." He said immediately without thought. I frowned aggregately, he hadn't even asked me what I wanted to do he had just assumed I was going to his.

"No, I'm going home." I say pulling out of his embrace causing distance between us.

He tried to reach out to grab me but I took a step back. "I don't think so." Blaine said defiantly with narrowed eyes daring me to answer him back.

"I'm going home. You can't keep me here Blaine." I began to walk away when I was suddenly turned around to a furious looking Alpha.

Within seconds I was shoved over his shoulder.

I huffed annoyed as he simply began walking again not bothering to shout at me but from the tenseness from his muscles I was glad. I also decided to stay silent until I felt like he was partly calm.

"Don't even try to get away again." He finally spoke after ten minutes of silence.

A shiver went through me at the sound of his voice. I continued to stay silent, not really knowing what to say. We would only argue if I replied. Ten minutes later we were finally walking out of the woods, and from what I could see we were in a meadow.

It looked utterly beautiful, new flowers were blooming and green grass was swaying in the direction of the wind. It seemed like it would be the best place to go if you needed space, to clear your head of any clouded thoughts.

I was obviously too mesmerized with the meadow to notice that we had entered the clearing to his house.

But he still didn't put me down, as he walked straight into his house. Trying to examine his home upside down was a difficult task. But from what I could make out, it felt very welcoming and homey which was surprising since this was Blaine's house.
