"Hey!" I shouted as he continued to pull me through the hallways of the pack house.
The whole place was completely silent and clearly everyone had disappeared by either being demanded to leave or just fearful of their Alphas temperament.
The only people there were a few pack warriors and Adrian, who all followed behind quietly while I struggled against Blaine's grip.
I kept trying to yank my arm out of his grasp but to no avail. "Blaine, get off of me!" I shouted furiously, but out of nowhere I was suddenly thrown over his shoulder and he began walking down the corridor. I screamed and started to kick and pound my fists against his back.
"Blaine, put me down!"
He continued to ignore me as he made his way through the pack house.
In the end I just stopped my protests and my screaming to be put down, and allowed Blaine to carry me in the direction of our home. I knew that nothing I said or did was phasing him, so my protests were useless.
I couldn't help but wonder who had told Blaine, how did he know and how did he manage to get there so quickly? There were only two suspects in my mind which were the pack doctor and Jack.
My body swayed a little as Blaine began walking up the steps of the porch. The sound of the door opening entered my hearing and then the sound of Blaine's strong footsteps as he began walking through the hallway to his office.
And I was really beginning to detest that room.
When he finally placed me back on the ground. I felt myself go a little dizzy as all the blood rushed to the back of my head leaving me light headed with unstable legs.
Blaine still held on to me, holding me by my hips helping me stand while I gained my balance. I gripped the front of his shirt until I got my composure back, and was finally able to stand on my own.
I finally looked up to find him staring at me intensely. I could see worry in his eyes, but the pure anger he held was overriding that emotion.
I removed my tight grip from his shirt, indicating that I was fine. He stayed holding my body close to his and then picked me up and walked me over to the couch and gently placed me down.
"I don't understand why, what difference does it make whether it's now or later?-"
I cut him off, halting his sentence. "You just asked the same question I repeatedly ask you."
He breathed deeply, signing that he wasn't happy with me interrupting him mid- sentence. "You can't use my own words against me. You have no right to go behind my back and ask my pack doctor to lie and deceit me. Do you realise the trouble he could get in for that? To me that is punishable by death, especially when it comes to my mate." Blaine speaks slowly but with a serious tone.
I sat there, thoughtful for a moment. In a way I felt bad, but I was also furious that Blaine would kill the pack doctor for not enclosing information which is technically private and not allowed to be disclosed unless the patient said so. It's private and confidential information, my personal information.
"No, you would have been responsible for his death. I have rights and the law states that my medical history and anything involving me and my doctor is strictly private. I don't have to tell you anything and you should learn to respect my privacy, like I would yours. Unless it was something extremely important."
I could see he was unhappy with my reply. He hated when I mentioned laws or regulations which the human law practiced.
