Not long after Benjamin had left, Olivia inadvertently caught sight of a familiar figure entering from the main gate.
She turned her head, and upon closer inspection, she realized it was unmistakably Nathan.
“My goodness!” Olivia’s eyes widened in surprise. The very next moment, she quickly averted her gaze, lowering her head and muttering to herself, “Why would he come to a place like this?”
She quickly sat sideways, terrified of being discovered by Nathan.
The lighting there was dim, which caused Nathan to overlook Olivia. He headed straight upstairs and chose a seat to settle down.
The ambiance upstairs was a bit more upscale than that of the first floor.
After taking his seat, Nathan calmly sipped his wine.
In the blink of an eye, Ethan was nowhere to be found.
From her vantage point, Olivia could easily see his position with just a lift of her head. Although she was worried about being noticed by him, she couldn’t help but observe his every move.
She saw a few flamboyantly dressed women approach to strike up a conversation with him.
Unconsciously, Olivia furrowed her brows, her gaze unwavering as she stared at them.
Whatever Nathan had said was unknown, but those few women stomped their feet in frustration before reluctantly turning away.
Once they had left, her gaze naturally fell upon the familiar figure. She couldn’t help but become lost in thought.
At that moment, a man came and sat down next to her.
“Hey beautiful. May I buy you a drink?” Suddenly, a strange voice echoed in her ears.
Olivia immediately pulled herself out of her thoughts and turned her head, coming face to face with a rather handsome visage.
The other person seemed quite amiable, so she gave a slight smile, gently declining, “Thank you, but I don’t need it.”
Having been rejected, the man didn’t seem to mind. His gaze fell on the laptop resting on her lap, and he couldn’t help but chuckle. “You’ve actually brought your laptop to a place like this. That’s quite unconventional.”
Olivia also laughed and said quite earnestly, “I enjoy working in busy places.”
She noticed that the man didn’t seem to have any intention of leaving, so she delicately voiced, “I prefer not to have anyone around when I’m working.”
The other person picked up on the meaning in her words, raised an eyebrow, but didn’t say anything. Sensing the cue, he tactfully got up and walked away.

Olivia let out a sigh of relief, instinctively turning her gaze toward the upper floor.
To her surprise, she found herself locked in a gaze with Nathan.
Her heart gave a harsh jolt, and she quickly lowered her head.
However, she quickly realized that she was in disguise. Logically, Nathan shouldn’t have been able to recognize her.
With that thought, she immediately felt a lot more at case.

In order to prevent Nathan from discerning anything, she feigned calmness, delicately sipping the wine on the table.
Seated on the second floor, Nathan’s gaze was firmly locked onto the woman downstairs.
She wore thick–framed glasses that covered most of her face, making her look quite unfamiliar.
Yet, for some inexplicable reason, a wave of familiarity washed over Nathan.
