“You don’t want me to find a woman, but my relationship with her is already set in stone. Why can’t I sleep with her?” Broce salt confidently 

Just then, the door to the ward was kicked open with a load cash. 

Beth Marlon and Bruce flinched, and they both turned toward the door. As soon as they saw Xavier, Marlon felt easy but quickly smiled. “Mr. Fulton, what brings you here?” Timothy intervened, Mr. Marlon, Mr. Eullen wants to speak with Mr. Bruce. Please step outside.” 

Bruce’s eyes darted, and he quickly got off the bed, hiding behind Marlon, “L. Thave nothing to talk about with Mr. Fulton!” 

Marlon’s face turned ashen. He had already anticipated that Lily’s situation might lead to the Joyner family taking advantage and making unreasonable demands. 

However, what he hadn’t expected was that Xavier would show up 

After a brief moment, Marlon quickly weighed the situation and decided to protect the Thompson family over Bruce. 

“Dad! Dad!” Bruce veled twice but couldn’t wake any sense of fatherly love in Marlon. 

Xavier stood in the center of the room, with sunlight illuminating his chest, while the upper part of his body remained in shadow. His cold, d were tomating him with his ever. 

“Who instructed you to attack Lily? His voice was calm but deep, lacking any warmth

His legs gave way as he spoke, and he dropped to his knees. “Mr. Fulton, please forgive me this once. There are so many women in the world–past pick another!” 

Tell me, who is my wife?” Navier demanded a clearer answer. 

“Ms. Lyndel” Bruce blurted out 

averturned his head slightly and instructed Timothy, “Call Sarah here” 

Timothy nodded and left to make the call. 

“Ms Lynde, Mr. Fulton asks that you come to the hospital.” 

Sarah was somewhat surprised. “He wants me to go to the hospital? What happened? Is he unwell? 

Timothy avoided the question. “You’ll know when you get here.” 

After hanging up, her surprise gradually turned into unease. 

“Sarah, what happened? Xyla leaned over and asked, “Who was that on the phone? 

“Mr. Snyder Xander asked me to come to the hospital.” Sarah said, putting down her phone and grabbing her clothes. “Xyla, if you get tired, just sleep at home.”
