Xavier agreed for Sarah to enter the room on her own.

Sarah walked toward Xyla's ward. She fixed her eyes on Xavier as she closed the door. When the door finally closed, only then did she turn around and hurry into the room.

"Xyla."

"Sarah!"

Xyla sat up on her bed as quickly as she could. "You're finally back!"

Grabbing onto her hand, Sarah said in a grim tone, "Xyla, listen to me. You are the only one who can save me now. Lily set me up—I'm innocent.

"Xavier found out that I helped Corey with resolving the issues about the photos before . He no longer trusts me now. You have to help me out…"

For some reason, Xavier started to feel unsettled when he saw the look in Sarah's eyes before the doors closed.

However, she had entered the room. He had no choice but to wait patiently.

After a few short minutes passed, he suddenly heard an ear-piercing scream coming from within the hospital ward.

The scream was coming from Xyla.

He barged into the hospital ward. The doctor, nurses, and police officers entered behind him.

In the room, Xyla had collapsed in Sarah's arms, her lips looking purple.

Terror was written all over Sarah's face. With a complex expression on her face, she gasped for breath as she stared at her unconscious sister in her arms.

"Hurry. Take the patient to the ER!"

The doctor and nurses worked together to pick Xyla up from Sarah's arms and take her to the emergency room.

Xyla was still mumbling, "Sarah, you can't go to prison. I don't want you to…"

Xavier looked toward Sarah with a fierce and frigid gaze.

Nonetheless, Sarah looked as if she was completely oblivious to his anger. She slumped to the floor as if she was going through some kind of devastation and had lost her mind.
