After putting his legs down, Shane got up from his chair. “I’ll send you the schedule details later once everything’s finalized. Oh, by the way
He paused for a moment before chuckling slyly. “Any new cars lately? Let your buddy here take one out for a spin.”
Suzanne was speechless. So, this guy really thought she was some car enthusiast?
She replied flatly, “Nope.”
With hat one word, Shane deflated completely, slumping heavily back into his chair. “Alright, then. You go ahead and do your thing. I’ll send the
schedule later.”
From her flashy car, he had assumed she was into collecting and driving luxury cars now. Clearly, he was wrong.
Suzamme replied, “Sure. Thanks for handling things over there.”
Shane handled all the work arrangements. While Suzanne didn’t have to deal with them, she knew how troublesome they could be.
Shane beamed once again as he casually ruffled his bangs. He then teased, “No need to thank me. How about you let me drive your car instead?”
