Her Hidden Crowns (Suzanne and Austin) novel Chapter 210

Suzanne scoffed coldly, not even bothering to glance at them. Her tone was indifferent as she said, "I'm here to start as a regular employee. Shouldn't we be working now?"

In an instant, all the employees went back to their desks obediently.

Seline's expression darkened even further. What the hell? Who was the manager here?

Seline shot Jessica a look, and Jessica immediately caught on.

Jessica turned to Suzanne with an icy glare and said, "So, you're here to work, right? But your appointment clearly goes against company policy, so I'll have to assess your abilities first. You can stay if you pass. If you don't, you'll be disqualified even if you are the CEO's daughter!"

A gleam of satisfaction crossed Seline's eyes. Jessica was just as well-trained as she had shaped her to be.

Suzanne scoffed. She had already anticipated this before coming, so it didn't surprise her at all. In fact, she needed stepping stones like this.

Without any hesitation, she said, "Then tell me what you want me to do."

Jessica assumed Suzanne was giving in and sneered, "Mr. Young ordered a custom jewelry set for his wife. I want to see the design draft in three days."

Many of the employees couldn't hold back and started whispering among themselves.

Someone remarked, "It's that Mr. Young! His standards are notoriously strict, and he has already rejected dozens of design drafts. It has been left hanging like an unsolved case. This is an impossible task, isn't it?"

One employee said, "It is! It's impossible to finish the design in three days."

"If she rushes it, Mr. Young would definitely be dissatisfied," another employee said.

Many designers had taken a verbal lashing over this project, none of them meeting Khalil Young's expectations. How was a talentless designer like Suzanne going to pull it off?
