Not long after, Seline sent another screenshot—this time showing the date the photo had been saved in her album.
Suzanne's fists clenched involuntarily.
She remembered that date clearly. It was exactly one month after Jenson had officially gotten together with her!
Suzanne let out a bitter laugh. So, from the very beginning, Jenson had been playing her, all for the sake of getting her help in choosing scripts.
Oh, the irony of it all.
Seline's voice crackled through the line. "You're the real joke here. Let me tell you something, Jenson never loved you—"
Suzanne scoffed. "If Jenson loves you so damn much, why are you clawing at me for attention?"
It was classic—the less he cared, the more Seline imagined the whole world was lusting after him. Suzanne's tone dripped with sarcasm as she continued, "What you cherish is nothing more than trash in my eyes."
Her words stung hard. Jenson had only been with Suzanne for a month before getting entangled with Seline. He wasn't garbage, nothing was.
Seline's anger surged, her face turning ashen. Clutching her phone tightly, she spat, "Don't get cocky, Suzanne. A lowlife like you isn't someone Jenson would ever want!"
Seline's face turned pale with rage. She gripped the phone tightly. "Suzanne, don't get ahead of yourself. A woman like you could never win Jenson's heart!"
She had to be saying all this because she couldn't have Jenson herself. How infuriating.
Suzanne had no intention of letting Seline off the hook. She fired back, "If he loves you so much, why hasn't he made your relationship public? Why hasn't he proposed?"
The sooner they got married and tied the knot, the better. That way, they could stay out of everyone else's lives.
Seline's expression darkened even further. Of course, she wanted to marry Jenson! The problem was, he didn't want to!
