The woman who posted the photos on Instagram smirked. An indecisive woman like Suzanne deserved to be criticized.
Over ten minutes later, Alan watched Suzanne get into her ride. Only then did he go back to work after seeing Suzanne off.
Roselynn and Suzanne sat in the back seat. After the driver started driving, Roselynn harrumphed. "Mrs. Hall, you shouldn't have stopped me earlier. You should've left me to beat that woman up. She was truly asking for it."
Yana kept saying that Suzanne wasn't good enough for Alan. It really pissed Roselynn off to hear that.
Roselynn retrieved a bag of spicy chips from a storage compartment in the car, then ripped the bag open forcefully as if she was taking her anger out of this bag of chips.
Looking askance at Roselynn, Suzanne had to force herself to hold back the urge to poke Roselynn on her cheeks, which she was puffing out in anger. Roselynn looked absolutely adorable when she was enraged.
Suzanne smiled. "There, there. It's not worth it to get so mad over them."
Roselynn shook her head and sighed. "Mrs. Hall, you're too kind. This is why you get pushed around."
If she were in Suzanne's shoes, she would've beaten that whole bunch of people up into a pulp. The fastest way to resolve a problem was through a fight.
Roselynn took a chip and chomped on it.
Suzanne fixed her eyes up ahead and curled her lips upward.
Was she kind? No, she had never been a kind person.
She simply couldn't be bothered to be petty with these people. If they provoked her, she would not hold herself back either.
It hadn't even been ten minutes since they started traveling in the car when Suzanne heard Roselynn inhaling sharply next to her.
When she glanced over at Roselynn, she spotted Roselynn staring at her with tears in her eyes.
Suzanne raised a brow. She opened a bottle of mineral water for Roselynn and handed it to her immediately. "Why are you still munching on those chips when they're too spicy for you?"
Roselynn accepted the bottle of water from Suzanne. While inhaling sharply, she said, "Thank you, Mrs. Hall."
