That audacious Mauve was back.
Summer's lips curled into a smile, and she was unable to suppress her excitement. Was their time finally coming again?
Catching up with an old friend always led to long conversations. Before she knew it, an hour had slipped by. With a reluctant glance at the clock, Summer finally ended the call with Suzanne.

At this point, the reality show had already gone viral.
At Lusso Hotel, inside a lavishly decorated Faroncian-style private dining room, a grand round table was filled with exquisite dishes and bottles of premium white wine.
Seated at the table was Henry, dressed in a black suit, his face swollen and bruised. Forcing a smile, he raised his glass politely toward the client beside him.
"Mr. Quinn, when do you think we can finalize the contract?" he inquired.
For nearly a month, Henry had been trying to secure this deal with the Quinn family.
After that staggering 20-million-dollar loss, the company's financials were still short by over seven million dollars. The urgency weighed on him. He had to land this deal.
Across from him, Grayson sat back in his chair. He was dressed in a navy blue suit, and his demeanor was completely unimpressed. With a scoff, he said, "Yates Corporation? I don't think you're quite there yet."
Henry's smile stiffened at his statement, his grip on the glass faltering for a second.
"Damn, Grayson Quinn. He's insufferable!" he cursed inwardly.
What was so bad about Yates Corporation? If anything, working with them was a privilege.
Still, Henry kept up his polite front.
"Yates Corporation recently secured a major contract with Mr. Young, and we're looking to expand internationally. Partnering with us would be a smart move, Mr. Quinn. There's great potential in it."
He laid out his pitch smoothly, but Grayson remained indifferent. Instead of acknowledging Henry's offer, he picked up his glass and took a sip, completely ignoring the one Henry had extended.
