Her Hidden Crowns (Suzanne and Austin) novel Chapter 283

Aaron nodded slightly, meeting Yasmine's gaze with a smile.

Yasmine planted her feet firmly on the floor and stated, "Come on, let's go get changed."

With that, she sprang up from her seat. Her action startled Aaron, who blurted out, "Slow down. Your legs don't hurt anymore?"

Waving him off dismissively, she responded, "I'm fine. They've healed."

To prove her point, she moved her legs slightly, but Aaron still looked unconvinced.

"Take it easy," he insisted.

Stepping forward, he gently took her hand and led her toward the walk-in closet.

Yasmine glanced at their intertwined hands, a smile curling at her lips. Then, as if suddenly remembering something, she looked up at him. "Oh, right. Dad's birthday is coming up. We need to start preparing."

It was an important event for the Hall family, something she couldn't afford to overlook.

Aaron turned back to her, nodding with a reassuring warmth in his gaze. "Don't worry, I've already made arrangements."

Yasmine's lips curved into a smile. With him, she never had to worry about these things. She could focus entirely on her career without distractions.

She sighed in admiration. "You're my strongest support. Life is so much easier with you around."

Aaron tightened his grip on her hand slightly, chuckling. "I could say the same about you."

His gaze was filled with nothing but affection.

By 7:30 pm, Suzanne pulled up outside the restaurant Yasmine had reserved. Pushing open the car door, she stepped out, her long legs unfolding gracefully.

Tonight, she wore a white off-shoulder blouse paired with a fitted pencil skirt that fell just below her knees.

Since she was going to meet Emma, Suzanne had taken extra care with her look. Her hair was styled into two low ponytails, with delicate braids woven into each. They were secured with butterfly tassel clips.

The usual coolness in her demeanor softened, replaced with a playful charm.
