Her Hidden Crowns (Suzanne and Austin) novel Chapter 323

By the time Cheryl opened her eyes again, the look in them was different. Agony and hopelessness filled her eyes as if they were about to consume her. Everything else around her was none of her concern. She was simply filled with sorrow.

Even though Cheryl was just standing tall at the same spot, they could feel the immense burden on her shoulders, so much so that it made them feel suffocated.

Then, a tear rolled down her cheek. She uttered softly, "Why?"

That single word carried a great sense of brokenness.

Looking at her like this evoked sympathy in those who watched her. It made them feel like pulling her into her arms to care for and protect her.

Cheryl cried out, "Why did everyone have to betray me?"

She seemed like she was about to release all feelings of doubt and dissatisfaction within her. However, in the end, she was just left feeling dejected.

There weren't many lines. Everything relied on emotional expression.

Both Marsha and Suzanne stared at Cheryl in astonishment. They had thought that she was just going to perform with some simple acting skills. To their surprise, she actually managed to handle such complex emotions. She was able to evoke sympathy in others with just the look in her eyes.

This was superb acting!

Even though she had flaws, those flaws were negligible. If she polished her skills, she would definitely portray Crystal's character even better than the original actress who played the role.

Cheryl gathered herself before lifting her head to look at Marsha. Nervously, she asked, "What do you think, Ms. Newton?"

Cheryl had never received professional training. She was completely self-taught. Because of this, she was extremely nervous, and she couldn't stop fiddling with her hands.

Marsha threw her arms around Suzanne. Feeling touched, she sobbed out the words, "Babe, you introduced such a great treasure to me."

Suzanne was speechless. What was Marsha doing…

She extended her arm and poked Marsha on her head. She grumbled, "Stop crying. You look ugly when you're crying."

Marsha couldn't be bothered to argue with Suzanne. She glanced over at Cheryl and urged in a firm tone, "You have to come for an audition tomorrow."

Even if the sky fell, Cheryl had to take up the supporting female lead role in Crown of Destiny.

Cheryl could finally relax. She looked at Marsha in surprise and nodded continuously. "Okay, sure thing. Please show me the ropes, Ms. Newton."
