Her Second Marriage, Being Mr. Moore's New Wife novel Chapter 209

Kennedy sneered, “You worry much. Demotion was just to deceive the public. Charlotte is my wife, I will not let her suffer that.”

At this point, Kennedy suddenly turned the wheel toward the direction of Charlotte. Charlotte was still holding the document.

“Charlotte, what do you think?”

“What?” Before Charlotte figure out what to say, Kennedy circled her waist and held her into arms. Her body lost control and feel into Kennedy’s arms.

Seeing this, Manfred could not help but clench his hands and there was anger between eyebrows.

“It seems that my wife is very enthusiastic today. She throws herself into my arms. Well...I can’t fail you.”

Before Charlotte figured out what was Kennedy going to do, he pinched her chin and kissed on her lips.

When their lips touched, Charlotte’s pupils trembled and she even forgot to struggle.

He had dinner with Diana just now, and at this moment, in front of his eldest brother, he pinched her chin and kissed her. What was this?

This was not feeling, nor desire, but a show and revenge!

He did it on purpose because Manfred was here.

Thinking of that, Charlotte recovered and was to push Kennedy away, but Kennedy pulled her away by her shoulders.

With an another look, she found Manfred was no longer in the office.

Charlotte raised her hand and gave Kennedy a slap in the face.

“Asshole.”

Kennedy had a palm print on his handsome face immediately because of that. He titled his face, pressed his lips, which showed his anger at this time.

But Charlotte was still angry and wanted to give him another slap in the face, but was stopped by Kennedy.

She struggled to break free, but she failed.

She could only say to Kennedy angrily, “What do you mean? Make me the tool of your revenge?”

Kennedy’s eyes were sharp and dark. And his words were harsh, “You are the first woman who dare to hit me.”

“So what?” Charlotte bit her lower lip. “If you can humiliate me, why can’t I retaliate against you? Do you think I should be thankful because you gave me my job back? No, I’d rather stay down to earth and do my job in the small department than go back to this disgusting place!”

With that, Charlotte forcefully pushed Kennedy away, turned around and ran out.

At the time of turning around, Kennedy saw her red eyes. He froze, watching her ran away.

After a moment, he dropped his eyes.

Was she sad?
