Her Second Marriage, Being Mr. Moore's New Wife novel Chapter 230

After the show of affection, Kennedy continued.

“I can't rest easy with my wife hurt so badly this time.”

Aldrich was stunned and wanted to question him. What should he do? His wife was lying in the emergency room with no idea whether she was in danger or not.

Just at this time, the emergency room door suddenly opened, the doctor came out, “Who are you Maggie's family members?”

No answer!

The doctor frowned, “Is Maggie's family not here?”

Aldrich suddenly reacted and stepped forward, “Doctor, I am Maggie's husband.”

“Sir, your wife is bleeding heavily and the baby is to be born ahead of the schedule. Please sign the surgical consent form.”

Hearing that, Aldrich suddenly widened his eyes, “Born ahead of schedule? Will the baby be healthy?”

“Sir, at present it is still unknown if the baby can be born safely, but we will try our best. Please sign as soon as possible and do not delay time.”

With trembling hands, Aldrich took out his pen and signed his name.

He said gritting his teeth. “Doctor, if it's ok...I want to make a request of you!”

“What?” The doctor glanced at him.

Aldrich clenched his fist, as if he had made a great decision. “If both of them are in danger, I hope... you save my baby!”

Doctor, “......”

Charlotte, “......”

Her eyes widened and she could hardly believe what she was hearing.

Aldrich told the doctor to keep the baby, what about Maggie? Would he give up Maggie?

Suddenly she felt cold, looking at the man she used to live with for two years. During those two years together, she never understood this man. He was heartless, and crazy.

Suddenly Charlotte felt sorry for Maggie. She should be the poor woman who got cheated, and the initiator was Aldrich.

She could not help but scold him directly, “Aldrich, are you still human being?”

Hearing her question, Aldrich looked back at her and said, “Mind your own business. Maggie lied inside because of you.”

Charlotte sneered, “The reason why she came to me must be clearer to you than I am?”

Aldrich suddenly felt guilty. He shrank neck and then turned to the doctor, “Doctor, please.”

“Sir,” retorted the doctor, “it is a hospital rule that in case of danger to both children and adults, we should save adults.”

“What?” Aldrich frowned. “What do you mean? What rule? Isn't the decision for us to make? What's the matter with your hospital?”

The doctor ignored him and turned around into the operating room. Before the door closed, Aldrich wanted to chase after him. The nurse came up , “Sorry Sir, here is the emergency room, please stop shouting!”

Aldrich was so angry that he pointed to the inside, “I need to keep the child, you hear that? What can I do with the adults? You carry my baby?!”

The nurse, a girl, wanted to punch him when she heard his straight remarks, but her good professionalism allowed her to resist the impulse, and she only sarcastically asked, “Is it the throne that needs to be inherited in your family?”

Hearing this, Aldrich paused for a moment. “What did you say?”

“If there is no throne to inherit, you can have a baby afterwards. Do you have to keep the baby this time? If it's not a boy, will you give it up?”
