Her Second Marriage, Being Mr. Moore's New Wife novel Chapter 271

With that, Charlotte rushed directly outside.

“If you don't care about their lives, you can get out.” Kennedy's voice suddenly sounded in the back. Charlotte paused and then turned around. She saw Kennedy sitting on the wheelchair in the distance.

His eyes, cold and distant, rested on her.

Ruthless and indifferent.

“Why?” Charlotte stared at his eyes and asked feebly.

“I don't want to stay here. Can't I get out?”

Kennedy tightly pressed his thin lips, with his indifferent breath almost enveloping the surrounding. Rebecca felt the pressure and dared not see Kennedy’s eyes.

“No.”

Charlotte chuckled quietly, and finally she walked slowly towards him. The servants and the guards at the door watched with bated breath.

They had feared Kennedy, and it was so unexpected that one day he would be rejected by a woman like this.

“Do you have to force me?” Charlotte looked down at Kennedy and asked.

Kennedy lifted his eyes and said in a cold voice, “Rebecca, take her back to room.”

Rebecca was scared. She nodded her head and took Charlotte's hand. “Let's go, Mrs. Moore, I'll take you back to your room.”

“No.” Charlotte stood in situ and refused to move. Rebecca’s face changed. She said in a low voice, “Mrs. Moore, let’s go, or Mr. Kennedy will be angry.”

“So?” Charlotte looked at Kennedy coldly, and then she pulled back her hands and step by step she walked to Kennedy, “Kennedy, this is imprisoned, it is against the law.”

Kennedy was calm and said in a cold voice.

“Imprisoned? You are my wife, the outside world is dangerous, I forbid you to exit. how do I break the law? Huh?”

“Rebecca!” Kennedy shouted. Rebecca was frightened and hurried forward to hold Charlotte, “Go, Mrs. Moore, I will help you, hurry away.”

Rebecca took Charlotte away dragging her, luckily, she got her strength and Charlotte was relatively thin.

After she left, Kennedy glanced at those guard.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Kennedy, we will defend every corner, and we will follow your command.”

“Well.” Kennedy nodded with satisfaction and then left.

After Kennedy left, several people breathed a sigh of relief.

“It scared me to death. I thought I was going to die this time. Who is that woman who appears out of nowhere, our survival is related to her.”

“Didn't you hear that, Mrs. Moore, Mr. Kennedy’s woman.”

“Mr. Kennedy... Wasn't there ever a woman with him? Why does one come out of nowhere?”

“I don’t know. We should not ask too much about the master's business. We should do what the master has told us.”

Several people were silent.

Charlotte was taken back by Rebecca to the room. She sat down, leaned back on the soft bed. Rebecca found that she did not look good and said in a soft voice, “Don't worry, Mrs. Moore. Mr. Kennedy is just angry. Maybe you can go out in a few days.”

“Go out? Do I have any chance of going out?” Charlotte sneered, “He wants to imprison me here, Rebecca...Your name is Rebecca, right? Call the police. I want to call the police.”
