Kennedy took the phone over and then checked the phone.
“What are you afraid of? All I did was to input my number into your phone. Listen.”
Vera made a phone call and Kennedy’s mobile phone rang.
“Is it too much?”
In the next second, Kennedy directly deleted the number. Seeing that, Vera was angry, “What are you doing? Why you deleted my number, you...”
She got up and leaned toward Kennedy, but Kennedy moved away with a cold face, “Stay away from me.”
Vera was embarrassed and reluctantly smiled, “Don’t do that to me. I took a big effort to come in here.”
Hearing that, Kennedy frowned, “Give me my room card.”
Vera shook her head, “Unless you saved my phone number, I will give the room card back to you and then leave.”
Being threatened, Kennedy was angry and he sneered, “It seems the Hayes family wants to give up the cooperation.”
“It has nothing to do with my brother. I like you, my brother will continue the cooperation with you. Kennedy, don't be angry.”
Kennedy was in rage, in the next second, he went directly to the bedside, took a quilt and covered Vera.
Before Vera figured out what had happened, she was thrown out of the hotel in the quilt.
Bang!
It was a big sound. Vera's arm hit the wall, which made her shout out of pain.
Two servants guarding the door rushed to her rescue.
“Miss Hayes, are you all right?”
When Vera got her head out from the quilt, Kennedy had closed the door ruthlessly and then locked it up.
“Miss Hayes?”
“Miss Hayes, your arm is injured.”
Vera bowed her head, only to find her arm got bruise.
Her face changed, but instead of getting angry, she reached out and rubbed the bruise gently. “He really does not take care of a woman,” she pouted.
“Yes, Miss Hayes, Kennedy treats you badly, shall we...”
As her voice fell, Vera looked at her with dissatisfaction, “What? Dare make a bad suggestion? And, don’t tell my brother, or he will know that I use him to get Kennedy’s room card, and he will lecture me.”
Hearing that, the servant nodded with awkwardness, “I know, Miss Hayes. What should we do now?”
“Well, I've already got his phone number, and I've done what I wanted to do.” Vera thought of the number he had deleted.
“Let's go back.” Vera stood up, arranged her clothes, looking at the door with a smile, “Anyway, we have a chance to meet in the future.”
*
After closing the door, Kennedy checked his mobile phone again and again. Vera’s appearance made him upset.
The pungent smell of perfume filled the room.
He frowned, opened the Windows and then asked for house cleaning. After that, he went out to the balcony to breathe.
The hotel was located in the heart of the city. Standing on the balcony, he could see the whole city.
It would be better if Alice was with him. Kennedy clicked open the dialog box with Alice.
The last message was a long time ago, and he hadn't spoken to her in recent days.
