Chapter 273 Pay The Price
On both sides of the red carpet, the bodyguards formed an impenetrable wall, preventing any reporters from crossing the safety line. They could only raise their microphones and ask questions with great effort.
But they received no responses. Kallum led Calista through the crowd with a cold, proud expression, his gaze sharp as they strode directly to the front stage.
Under countless flashing lights, Kallum remained extremely composed. His handsome face, as hard as a sculpture, exuded an aura that warned others to stay away. His gaze cut through the crowd and landed directly on Harvey.
The moment Harvey saw Kallum, his expression twisted with hatred, as if he wanted to pounce and tear off a piece of their flesh!
If it weren’t for the Fairchild family, he would still be the high and mighty head of the Wolford family!
If it were just Harvey, it wouldn’t be a big deal, but the old fox from the Murray family was also present, along with people from the Lozano family and the Zwilling family, all eyeing them like tigers. Kallum only glanced at Harvey before focusing on the “baule” ahead.
Harvey, on the other hand, glared at Calista and Kallum without a care. If he lost today, he would no longer exist in Honington tomorrow. What was there to fear? Kallum wouldn’t spare him anyway!
Harvey was convinced Kallum was infected, so the question was whether the Fairchild family would come up with another way to fool everyone.
The crowd gradually quieted down. Kallum let out a soft hum and spoke his first sentence.
“I know why you are all here, and I have only one thing to say: The K Virus leak in Horington has nothing to do with the Fairchild family. Those behind this will pay the price today onward.”
The atmosphere turned tense. Though Kallum’s expressionless statement was brief, just thinking about the downfall of the Wolford family from Summerbank made them shiver.
The once–great Wolford family had fallen apart and become second–rate. They didn’t want to become the next Harvey. Some began to regret coming here, but Harvey loudly retorted.
“Stop with the threats and psychological games! I’ve got nothing left to lose. Even if I die today, I’ll expose
your true colors!”
As he spoke, Harvey pushed his IV drip stand and stepped forward. Kallum squinted his eyes, and Gunner stepped up to block him.
“Mr. Wolford, please sit down. This is not your platform to speak. If you cause trouble, we’ll have no choice but to remove you.”

Gunner’s voice was cold, his gaze hostile.
Harvey was unwilling, but he was no longer the formidable the head of the Wolford family. Many present were far more powerful than him. If he wanted to see Kallum suffer, he had to behave for now,

“I understand,” Kallum responded politely. “Some people orchestrated this to target me. I already have some evidence. After the press conference, we can discuss it in detail.”
