The next day.
When Abigail woke up, she saw the news. that the Powerline Group wanted to take over the Swift Group.
Seeing this, Abigail was so excited that she almost called Liam, but on second thought, she hesitated.
If Liam really wanted to buy it, it was no use calling him. He wouldn't change his mind because of her.
Thinking of this, she immediately called Jacob.
Soon, the call was connected.
Abigail could also guess that Jacob must be placating shareholders with news like this.
"Brother!"
"Yes." As he spoke, Jacob took the phone and walked to the corner.
"I saw the news. Is it true?" She asked.
"No." He denied firmly. "I didn't have the contract from the Powerline Group."
"Really?" She asked.
"Will I lie to you about this?" He said.
She nodded. "Okay, I see, but do the shareholders believe you?"
"It's just a rumor. It's inevitable for them to be nervous, but as shareholders, they need to see the actual evidence." Jacob said.
"Don't worry. It's all right." He comforted her.
"Well, I see. If you need anything, you must call me." She said.
"Okay, take care of yourself."
"I know!" She then hung up.
She sat on the bed and thought about it. Then she got up, cleaned up, and had breakfast while resisting the urge to call Liam.
