Abigail's words stunned Leo. He was surprised that Abigail knew Liam was there.
"Abigail, believe me, it will never happen again," Leo promised her word by word.
His certainty and confidence gave Abigail a strange feeling. Instead of agreeing, she asked, "Where are you now? Still outside?"
Leo was looking for her as he made the phone call in the car. It was not until she answered that he was a little relieved.
"Yes, I'm still outside. I'll be right back." Leo said.
"It's late. Go back early. I'm tired now. Bye!"
"Well, good night," Leo said.
"Well, then, good night," Abigail said.
"Abigail..." Leo suddenly stopped her.
"Yes?" Abigail was just about to hang up when she heard Leo's calling.
"I..." Leo wanted to say something, but he realized that it was not the right time. So he changed his mind, "Nothing. Have a nice dream."
"You too."
After hanging up the phone, Abigail heaved a sigh of relief, threw her phone aside, and went straight to the shower.
'What a night!'
After the shower, Abigail climbed straight to bed. Now she was really sleepy.
As for Leo, he sat in the car, looking at his phone. He couldn't come back to his senses for a long time.
Thinking about what happened tonight, he was in a very bad mood.
