"So, shoot it!" Mayor Lee did not beat about the bush but cut to the chase.
Leo has been waiting for the meeting for so long.
Now that Mayor Lee was being direct, Leo did not necessarily talk in a roundabout way. He put the golf club aside and sat beside Mayor Lee. "I think you already knew well my intention, Mayor Lee."
Mayor Lee took a sip of tea. "If I knew, I wouldn't bother asking."
Leo knew he was lying.
In this case, Leo chose to say it one more time. "We've reached an agreement that the document would be approved soon, but I got a call which said some problems propped up and there might be a delay. Mayor Lee, I am a bit confused."
Hearing Leo's words, Mayor Lee raised his eyebrow. "If that's the case, the document should take the blame."
"Really?" Leo raised his eyebrows. "Mayor Lee, we met before and it was you who said there was no problem." Leo looked at Mayor Lee and said word by word.
Mayor Lee frowned. Although Leo standing in front of him looked very gentlemanly, he could feel this man's imposing manner and a slight threat in his words.
He can fairly rival Liam.
"I only had a glance at it, so I'm not sure what's going on." Mayor Lee said indifferently.
