"Really?" Liam looked at her and asked.
Olive nodded. "Of course, I don't know..." In the middle of her speech, she stopped and turned to look at him. "What do you mean? Do you think I did that?"
"No, I'm just asking you."
"Then I have to say it's not me." She was hurt by his question.
"Yes, I'm jealous of her because she is always attracting your attention. But I am not stupid enough to cross the border of law and kidnap her." She stared at him and accentuated each word.
Her words did make much sense.
And she acknowledged her jealousy of Abigail.
However, her honesty made it harder to tell which part of her speech was true and which was not.
His suspicion of her remained.
Olive sneered. "You don't believe me. Okay, I am a wicked woman as you think." A derisive smile lifted the corner of her mouth.
She looked sorrowful. A frown appeared on Liam's brow.
"I believe you." After a while, he said.
She turned her head and looked at him. "Really?"
He nodded. "Yes, I believe you didn't lie to me."
His words had double meanings.
Apart from the trust, he was also warning her that lying to him was intolerable.
