Speaking of this, Abigail was in a daze for a moment. Thinking of what Liam said to Senior Mrs. Jones last night, Zia Abigail's blushed slightly.
"Grandma, this dessert is your favorite. It's a little bitter after taking the medicine. Come on, eat this!" Abigail said.
"Don't change the subject. I'm old, but my mind is clear. Tell me!"
"Grandma, you're so gossipy!" Abigail answered.
"I'm just concerned about you. How can it be gossipy?"
"It's not the time yet. We just date for a short time!"
"Not yet? Not even yesterday?" Hearing that, Senior Mrs. Jones asked in surprise.
Abigail stopped, not knowing what to say.
Senior Mrs. Jones was obviously hoping something happened between Abigail and Liam yesterday.
"Yes, not yet, so don't gossip," Abigail said, picking up another piece of dessert and feeding it to Senior Mrs. Jones.
Senior Mrs. Jones, on the other hand, enjoyed Abigail's caring about her. After all, Abigail would be her granddaughter-in-law.
But as she ate, she muttered, "My grandson, he's so disappointing. It's a waste of what he told me yesterday!" Senior Mrs. Jones said bitterly.
Hearing that, Abigail forced a smile.
She didn't know what to answer at Senior Mrs. Jones's words.
"Grandma, how are you today?" She quickly changed the subject, not wanting to talk about this. It was too awkward.
Senior Mrs. Jones sat on the bed. "I'm fine. What's going on? But staying in this room all the time is killing me!"
Looking at Senior Mrs. Jones's expression, Abigail smiled, "Well, have some dessert. I'll go out with you and take a walk, okay?"
Hearing this, Senior Mrs. Jones immediately showed a smile, "Okay!"
