After changing her clothes and picking up her phone, Abigail went out.
At this moment, as soon as Jacob walked upstairs, he saw Abigail.
"It's too late. Where are you going?" Jacob proceeded up, with his tall figure, dressed in a casual knitted suit--light gray pants, a blue shirt, looking handsome.
Seeing Jacob, she grinned, "I have something to do outside"
Jacob narrowed his eyes, "But it's late now!"
Abigail thought for a while, "It's okay. I'll be back soon after I finished it!"
Seeing that Abigail insisted on going out, Jacob figured it out, "Are you going for Liam?"
Although she was surprised that Jacob's guess was accurate, she nodded, "Yes!"
Jacob had an indescribable feeling.
"I don't have enough time to keep on talking with you, Jacob. I have to go now!" As she spoke, Abigail bypassed him and was about to scoot down.
"Wait!" Jacob said.
Abigail was astonished, stopped and stood there still.
"It's too late to get a taxi outside. Drive a car!" Jacob took out the key and handed it to her.
Abigail was astounded and then smiled, "Thank you, Jacob!" She took the key and went straight down.
Jacob stood there and felt his own impulse to stop her.
But he couldn't do that!
Staring at Abigail's back, he could only suppress the impulse forcefully.
He clenched his fists.
Driving, Abigail pulled over to buy food for Liam and then headed to the company.
After parking the car, Abigail went straight up.
When she arrived, Dan was standing at the door.
