S2 17. Rush to the Hospital.
Melanie gritted her teeth. She wanted to deny it, but realized that Barbara’s condition was pathetic. Moreover, her daughter had just given a code to go to the toilet again.
“My Dear, after thinking about it, I think you need to go to the hospital. I can’t bear to see you suffer like this, Daughter.”
Barbara’s eyes suddenly grew sunken. “You want me to be
embarrassed? I can’t even walk to the front door. I have to go to the toilet every minute!”
“You can if you take medicine. It can stop diarrhea, even if only for a
few moments.”
Suddenly, Barbara ran towards the toilet. Her moans left Melanie with
no other choice.
“Where’s the medicine?”
Louis shrugged. “I don’t know. Grandma knocked it out of my hand. Maybe it’s still there if we look around here.”
Melanie took a deep breath. “Didn’t you bring a bottle?”
Louis turned the bottle in his hand. “Only the one left. Grandma shouldn’t have hit my hand.”
Melanie grimaced in disgust. “Quickly look for it! And bring me the
ORS!”
Emily handed her the glass in her hand. After that, she followed Louis searching for the pills around them. Philip, who had been watching all along, couldn’t help but laugh.
“I found one!”

“Me too!”
“But these are only two. Let’s look for more!”
When Barbara came out of the restroom, the twins had only managed to find three pills.
“Come on, Dear. Drink this!”
Barbara grimaced in disgust. “Haven’t the pills touched the floor already?”
Melanie blinked. “It doesn’t matter. Just take them quickly!”
Barbara sighed in resignation. Louis secretly laughed when he saw her ugly face.
“Philip!” Melanie’s scream shocked everyone. “I know you’re standing out there. Hurry and take my daughter to the hospital!”
Philip widened his eyes and revealed himself. “Me, Ma’am?”
“Who else?”
Philip glanced at the twins who shrugged their shoulders quietly. Sighing in despair, he called the driver to get ready.
“What are you waiting for? Quickly take my daughter to the car!”
Philip hurried to put away his phone. “Let me get a wheelchair.”
“What for? Just carry Barbara to the car! That’s much faster.”
Barbara gasped. She had gone to the toilet five times. The smell might still be on her clothes, but Melanie asked a man to carry her?
“Wait ….”
Before she could refuse, Philip had already picked her up. Barbara’s cheeks spontaneously blushed. As she could no longer hold back the

embarrassment, she closed her eyes and covered her face with one
hand.
“Ugh, Auntie smells so bad!” Louis said as Philip brought Barbara past them. Emily also pinched her nose.
Barbara almost cried. While tightening her eyes, she bit her lip.
“Shut up! Don’t tease your aunt! You naughty kids!”
Melanie understood Barbara’s feelings, and so do the twins. Instead of pouting, the toddlers smiled slightly. When Melanie and Barbara were out of sight, only then did their laughter escape. They jumped a little and gave a high five.
“Yeah! Our mission was successful! Hopefully Auntie will change her attitude after this.”
“Yes! I hope she will change into a good person and not be annoying anymore!”
Seeing the twins having a small celebration, Frank and Kara laughed faintly. They came out of the next room and approached the toddlers.
“How was it, Kids? Are you happy?” Frank rubbed the twins’ shoulders.
“Yes, Daddy! It was exciting. Someday, I want to be a secret agent again.”
“Me too!” Emily nodded enthusiastically.
The curve of Kara’s lips pursed slightly. Lowering her knees, she held the twins’ arms. “But you should remember, you don’t have to repay to everything.”
“Except for really evil things? Like what Auntie and Grandma planned for Mommy?” Emily tilted her head so that her cheek was chubbier on
one side.
Kara smiled at that. “Yes, this time is an exception. Next time, let the

laws of nature do the work. We must not hold grudges.”
“But, that’s actually more dangerous, Mommy. God’s punishment could be more severe. Auntie should be grateful that we were the ones to repay her for what she did.” Louis nodded, confirming his own opinion.
“Oh, I suddenly feel sorry for Philip. I hope Auntie can survive until she gets to the hospital. If she poops her pants, Philip won’t be able to breathe!” Emily pinched her nose again as she shuddered.
Frank and Kara laughed in amusement mixed with pity. Secretly, they felt guilty for leaving Philip to take care of Barbara and Melanie alone.
“I hope Philip can survive,” Kara whispered, smiling wryly.
Stroking Kara’s arm, Frank took a deep breath. “He definitely can. He is strong physically and mentally.”
But apparently, until late at night, Philip had not yet come home. He was trapped next to Barbara. Melanie assigned him to stand guard while she fell asleep on the couch.
“I’m Louis and Emily’s assistant, but why am I looking after this annoying girl?” Philip sighed with a resigned look. Crossing his arms he began to close his eyes. “This is very boring.”
At that moment, Barbara opened her eyes. Her mouth was dry and her body was weak.
“Mom, I want to drink,” she said hoarsely.
Philip flinched. Swiftly, he handed her a bottle of water equipped with a straw. “Be careful. Don’t spill it. I don’t want to be bothered anymore. It’s already late.”
