S21 33. New Barbara
Emily blinked innocently. “I’m sure you won’t dare repeat that mistake. Louis will immediately report you to the police if that happens.”
Barbara snorted. She wanted to deny it again, but she didn’t have any
reason.
“Okay, if you guys provide what I need to promote, I’ll try it.”
Emily suddenly raised one hand, as if she wanted to answer a quiz. Auntie, you can promote my products. Many of your followers like fashion. They might be interested.”
Barbara was enthusiastic, but she did not want to show it. “Okay, just provide the information.”
While Emily smiled sweetly, Louis brought the trolley closer to Barbara. “Since the solution has been found, how about you eat, Auntie? Poor these crabs. They have been neglected for a long time.”
Barbara wanted to laugh. However, to protect her pride, she snorted. Then get out of the way. I can’t bring this trolley in if you guys are blocking the door.”
The twins moved to the side. While smiling, they watched Barba push the trolley to her room.
“Our mission was successful,” Emily whispered before giggling.
Louis nodded. “I didn’t expect it to be this fast.”
Hearing that, Barbara cleared her throat. Before closing the door, she muttered, “Thank you.”
The twins froze. As soon as the door closed, they looked at each
other.

“Did I hear it right? Auntie thanked us?”
“Yeah, that’s great progress!”
Laughing, the two toddlers jumped up and down and hugged each other. The change of Barbara’s attitude was a great achievement for
them.
“Congratulations, Young Master and Young Lady. You succeeded in convincing Barbara to be a good person.”
The twins looked over. Seeing the assistant, their eyes lit up.
“Philip, since when have you been standing there?”
“Did you see how we acted?”
Philip smiled slightly, nodding. “Yeah, you guys are great!”
The twins’ faces brightened even more.
“Thank you, Philip. Since Auntie wants to promote my dress tomorrow, will you accompany me to help her?” Emily blinked expectantly.
With a similar curl of his lips, Philip nodded. “Of course, Young Lady,
Emily immediately jumped happily. Meanwhile, Louis pursed his lips Does it mean I’ll work alone again tomorrow?”
Emily covered her laughter with one hand. “That’s not a problem, Louis. You’re great. You can handle everything by yourself. As for me… I have to face Auntie.”
Louis’ cheeks puffed out slightly. “That’s right. Your challenge is tougher.”
A second later, he patted Emily’s shoulder. “Cheer up, Emily. I’m sure you can do it. If Auntie acts up, just pull her pink hair.”

“Okay, I’ll pull it hard. But if Auntie cries, you are the one who should take the responsibility.” Emily giggled.
But, who would have thought, when they met at the office the next day, Barbara’s appearance had changed.
“Oh my God, Emily. Is that really Auntie?” Louis was stunned.
“Yeah, no more pink hair to pull. Your advice no longer applies, Louis.”
“Hey, why are you guys standing there? Come on in! I can’t wait to prove my abilities,” Barbara said, somewhat sarcastically but full of enthusiasm.
Emily also put on a smile. With light steps, she went to her desk.
“Okay. Let’s start now. I asked Philip to prepare the materials yesterday. You have printed them, right, Philip?”
Getting no answer, Emily turned to the door. The man turned out to be frozen. His eyes didn’t blink at all, fixed on Barbara.
“Philip?” Emily called. However, his assistant didn’t answer either.
“Philip,” Louis took the man’s hand beside him, “Emily called you.”
Philip blinked. When he got his senses, he immediately caught Barbara’s confused expression.
“Why are you looking at me like that? Is my hair weird?” she grumbled
Philip blinked. “No. I’m just glad you changed your appearance. Yesterday’s pink hair was actually a bit annoying.”
Barbara furrowed her brows. After a quick sigh, she held out her hand. “Where are the materials?”
“Materials?” Philip raised an eyebrow. After a few blinks, he raised his finger at the side of his head. “Oh, materials. Wait a moment.”

Philip pulled the drawer beside Emily, took out a folder. “This.” He put it on Barbara’s hand.
“What were you thinking all along?” Barbara grumbled, as if she didn’t know the word thank you. “Emily, doesn’t your assistant deserve a reprimand? He’s not focused today.”
Emily frowned and scratched her cheek. “Yeah, Philip isn’t usually like this. Are you sick, Philip?”
The man flinched. “No,” he shook his head quickly.
“Then why are you such a daze?” Emily tilted her head, as if she could find the answer if she looked at Philip from a different angle.
Suddenly, Louis giggled. When his hand moved away from his mouth, he put on a faint smile.
“I think I know why Philip lost his focus. He’s-”
Before Louis could express his opinion, Philip hurriedly approached and turned the toddler’s shoulders to face him.
“Young Master, aren’t you busy today? How about I take you to your
room?”
While the others narrowed their eyes, Louis fiddled with his eyebrow “Okay, but I think you should give me a gift.”
“Okay. Whatever you ask, I’ll give it. Now let’s go to the next room.
Seeing Philip pushing Louis’ back, Barbara and Emily furrowed their brows together.
“What’s wrong with them?” Barbara sighed faintly.
Emily shrugged. “Maybe it’s men’s thing.” A second later, she turned her head and smiled again.
“Auntie, how about you start studying the material? I want you to help
