Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father novel Chapter 383

S3| 126. The Most Beautiful Girl

Jeremy never knew that waiting could be that fun. Even though his hand was holding the tablet, his eyes kept being attracted to Ava. He was curious about how the girl would be after being polished-the girl. he had previously called stiff and unattractive.

Suddenly, a message came from Kara. “Uncle, has Ava had her make over done?”

Reading that, Jeremy let out a small snort. “Is this Louis or Emily? Or both?”

However, his fingers typed a reply, “Not yet. What’s wrong, Emily?”

“This is Louis, Uncle. Why do you think I’m Emily? Emily could not dare steal Mommy’s phone.”

Jeremy shook his head slightly. His heart tingled. Somehow, Louis’ voice rang in his ears, like he was nagging.

“Sorry. I thought you were Emily for using the word make over.”

“Is Emily the only one who knows that word? Me too, Uncle. I’m smar too.”

Before Jeremy had time to think about a reply, another new message

came in.

“Are you nervous?”

Jeremy’s eyebrows rose. “Why do you ask that, Louis?”

“It’s me, Emily. Louis was typing too slowly. So I took over.”

Jeremy let out another laugh. “Yes, a little.”

“Uncle, don’t worry. Ava must be very beautiful.”

Jeremy glanced at Ava again. The salon workers still surrounded her. Suddenly, his phone vibrated again.

“Uncle, remember how I drew Ava for her birthday? She must be that

beautiful, especially with her hair down. Louis said so too.”

Jeremy smiled involuntarily. “Thank you, Twins. I’m not nervous anymore.”

“When Ava is finished, don’t forget to take a photo. We also want to see the results.”

“Okay.”

However, just when Ava entered the dressing room, a pounding heart made Jeremy forget the twins’ request. He no longer focused on his tablet or phone. He just wanted to see Ava, admire her beauty.

When the girl returned to him, Jeremy didn’t blink at all. It seemed as if he didn’t want to miss a single second without admiring her

appearance.

“Tada! Here is your gorgeous girlfriend, Mr. Harper.” The colorful- haired man spread his arms, presenting the results of his hard work Do you like it?”

“Wow! Is this really Ava Connor?” Jeremy looked up and down. The girl was more like a goddess than an ordinary human. Her elegance shone through.

Ava smiled shyly. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she stepped

forward.

“Is that a compliment or a joke?”

“Of course it’s a compliment,” Jeremy sighed, diving into the soft. twinkle in Ava’s eyes. “I think Emily is really a genius. She said you would look exactly like the picture she made. It turns out it’s true.

You’re perfect with your hair down naturally like this. And this dress… shine’s even more on you.”

Jeremy ran his fingers through Ava’s hair. However, the vibrations it sent traveled down to her bones. Ava almost shuddered as the hairs on the back of her neck bristled.

“This is not natural, Jeremy. Friends from this salon conjured it. I can’t promise that it will still be like this tomorrow.”

Jeremy shook his head faintly. “Don’t be humble. That will only raise you higher on the throne in my heart. The problem is you are already at the top.”

“I think your mother will be jealous of me if she hears that,” Ava joked. She didn’t want to bounce too high because her cheeks were already quite red now.

“No, my mother will actually be happy. She’s been expecting me to say something like this to a girl. So, Jeremy offered his arm, “can we go now?”

Ava nodded slightly. With her head slightly lowered, she linked her hand to the strong arm. Then, after thanking him, the two of them drove off to another place.

A few moments later, they arrived in front of a skyscraper. Ava gape as she tried to see the tip of the top. After squinting to no avail, she turned her gaze to Jeremy.

“Are you serious we’re going to eat up there?” Her finger was pointed at the sky.

Jeremy smiled crookedly. He liked her innocent expression every time she was surprised.

“Yes, on the 71st floor. You’re not afraid of heights, right?”

Ava shook her head slowly. “Isn’t it hard to get a table there? The line

is long, and you only made a reservation today. How much did you bribe them?”

Jeremy pressed his lips against his chin. “Does it matter? My priority is pampering my future wife.”

Ava snorted in disbelief. “You don’t sound like Jeremy. Are you imitating your brother again?”

“You don’t like it?”

Ava smiled wryly. “Just be yourself, Jeremy. That’s better.”

“But this is who I am now, me after getting to know you. You have to get used to it. I don’t want to be a stiff man for my wife.”

Jeremy offered his arm. “Ready to break through the sky?”

The curve of Ava’s lips pursed mysteriously. “I’ve been through the sky since you gave me the ring.” She placed her hand in the crook of Jeremy’s elbow.

“Now you’re the one who doesn’t sound like yourself.”

Ava chuckled. “I’m just trying to be more honest.”

“Good. Keep it up. I’m taking you to dinner so we can get to know each other better. I’ve even prepared a list of questions.”

Jeremy started walking. Her steps were slow, matching Ava’s elegance in her classic dress.

“The 71st floor is still a long way to go. You can ask questions from now,” Ava whispered while they were in the elevator.

Jeremy brought his lips to Ava’s ear. “There are other people here. You don’t mind?”

Ava met their gazes. “What do you want to know about me?”

“Everything. Your hobbies, your dreams, your favorite food, your

favorite position.”

“Jeremy!” Ava patted the arm of the man who was smiling mischievously. Her eyes darted here and there, checking to see if anyone was listening.
