Hiding the Twins from Their Billionaire Father novel Chapter 392

S31 135. Tiny Squads

After hanging up the phone, Jeremy scratched his temple. He was a little confused about how to tell Ava about previous incident. He

couldn’t possibly cover up the truth. However, he also didn’t want to hurt her feelings or make her family relationship even more strained.

“Should I skip the sexy dress part? That might be more acceptable to Ava. But we promised not to keep anything a secret.”

Jeremy furrowed his brows deeper. At that moment, the door to his study opened.

“Ava?” He stared wide-eyed when he saw his lover enter with an expression that was difficult to describe.

“Did Eva come here earlier?” Ava’s voice was low and a little hesitant., Her hands intertwined in front of her stomach.

Jeremy’s jaw dropped. “Yes….’

However, before he had time to explain further, Ava ran over and hugged him. The arch of Jeremy’s eyebrows instantly changed

meaning.

“What’s wrong, Ava? Has something happened?”

“Thank you.” Ava pressed her cheek against Jeremy’s chest. She closed her eyes. “Thank you for keeping my trust by not being influenced by Eva’s advances.”

Jeremy’s eyes widened again. “You know about that?”

Ava nodded before meeting his gaze. “I saw it on CCTV. She was that close to you. Why didn’t you take the bait?”

“Wait a minute. Were you watching the CCTV?”

Ava smiled faintly. “Yeah, my gut feeling said that she was planning something. And it turned out to be true. She came to your study. So, why didn’t you touch her? Isn’t she… hot?”

Jeremy snorted in amusement. “What kind of question is that? There’s nothing sexier than you, especially when you’re in my bed.”

While grimacing in disgust, Ava threw a light punch at his chest. “I’m serious. Why are you even joking?”

“I am serious. I just want to touch you, Ava Connor. I don’t need another woman. And most importantly, I don’t want to hurt your feelings, let alone break your trust.”

Ava’s lips curled with emotion. With teary eyes, she tilted her head. ” Then now, what are your plans?” She changed the course. She knew the two of them could end up in bed if they kept discussing love and loyalty.

“I think it’s time for Eva to leave this house. She has violated the rules. The possibility of a second violation is certainly greater understand it would be unethical for us to throw her out. So, I the special squads to make Eva feel uncomfortable living here.”

One of Ava’s eyebrows moved down. “The squads? Is it the twi

Jeremy nodded with the corners of his lips tugging at his cheeks They will stay here tomorrow.”

“But, is that the right decision? What if Eva endangers them?”

“I’ve finished analyzing Eva. She didn’t come here for Patricia. She came to satisfy her own ego-winning over you, separating us.”

Ava’s mouth rounded. She hadn’t thought that far before. “Is that why she seduced you earlier?”

Jeremy nodded. “She has to know that she won’t be able to keep us

apart. And with the help of the twins, we can get rid of her without a fight.”

In front of the dressing table, Eva noticed what she was missing.

After checking from various angles, she snorted.

“Nothing! There’s not a single flaw on me. But why is he not

interested in me at all?”

Slamming her fists on the table, she sharpened her gaze. The hatred reflected in the mirror became more and more intense.

“It’s all because of Ava. She must have used magic spells. It’s impossible for a man to choose her over me.”

While catching her breath, Eva devised a strategy to gain Jeremy’s sympathy. However, before her brain could come up with an idea, the sound of whistles and drums widened her eyes.

“What’s that?”

As time went on, the noise got closer. Curious, Eva finally can

“What is this? Are you guys on a parade? Don’t you know that it’s still early and you’re at home?”

Emily suddenly took a long puff. One of her hands was raised. In an instant, Louis stopped beating the drums and the situation turned silent.

“Eva? It turns out you’re staying here?” Louis widened his eyes.

Meanwhile, Emily waved her hand. The whistle was left hanging from

a string around her neck. “Hi, Eva. Good morning. You look beautiful today. Have you just finished dressing?”

Receiving such praise, Eva’s annoyance subsided. While lowering the arch of her eyebrows, she straightened her back.

“I always pay attention to my appearance.” Her style was sassy. “So, what do you guys do with that whistle and drum?”

Emily smiled sweetly. “We heard that your mother was having a bit of trouble during therapy yesterday. Since it’s the weekend, we decided to come cheer her up.”

“With that noise?” Eva snorted a light laugh. “No, Kids. That’s not the way to encourage my mother. She will actually be uncomfortable hearing noises. She just needs my support and presence.”

Louis pursed his lips. “This isn’t noise Eva. This has rhythm. Don’t you

understand art?”

Louis demonstrated the results of his training. “This beat is oft used in world-class parades. Just try searching on the interne

Eva rubbed her ears. “Sorry, but that doesn’t lift my spirits at all. It only adds to my stress.”

“So, we can’t go to Mrs. Connor and show her the results of our training?” Emily pouted.

“No,” Eva said without thinking.

Instantly, sadness began to gather in Emily’s eyes. “But we’ve been practicing hard. We’ve also promised Mrs. Connor to give her a great show.”
