S31 141. Go Away
“Uncle,” Louis frowned because Jeremy was rubbing his hair too hard, “do you think Mrs. Moore will attack Eva? Will Eva be safe?”
Meanwhile, beside Louis, Emily stood casually. Ava dried her hair very gently. She just gave her a gentle pat when wiping her face.
“Mrs. Moore is definitely targeting Eva. She’s a witch. But I don’t think you need to worry, Louis. Uncle Jeremy has sent several bodyguards to look after Eva.”
“Yes, but that was from a distance. What if someone attacks Eva at close range?”
“The guards won’t allow suspicious people to approach Eva. You don’t need to worry, Buddy.” Jeremy threw the towel towards the chair then grabbed the hairbrush. “Now, what style do you want?”
Louis immediately moved his hands above his head. “I want my hair to stand up like this. I’ll definitely get cooler.”
“Like a parrot’s crest?” Emily giggled
“No. Like top models. I want to wear that hairstyle later during the photo shoot.”
Jeremy snorted slightly. “You know what? There’s another style that suits you better.”
“Which one?” Louis’ eyes widened.
With a crooked smile, Jeremy brushed Louis’ hair in a middle-parted style. Seeing that, Emily’s laughter echoed. “It suits you, Louis. Looks
classic.”
Pursing his lips, Louis shook his head. “Yeah, yeah. I’ve always been

cool. Any hairstyle always suits me.
Ava let out a smile hearing Louis’ confidence. Seeing that, Jeremy’s eyes softened.
“Ava, with what we’re doing, are you getting excited?”
Ava’s eyebrows rose. She glanced. “Excited?”
“Taking care of children. When we have children, more or less, we will
be like this. Bathing them and drying their hair together. Isn’t this very fun?”
Ava got blushed. Meanwhile, the twins glanced at each other and played with their eyebrows.
“I’m sure you two will be very good parents, like Mommy and Daddy.” Emily smiled sweetly.
“Because of that, you two have to get married soon so you can
quickly have children. That way, Emily and I ….” Louis gave Emily a signal with a deep nod.
“Could have a younger cousin sooner!” they shouted together with their two arms stretched out in the air.
The twins’ enthusiasm made Jeremy smile. Stealing a glance, he sighed lightly, “Yeah, we’ll work on that. Just wait.”
Ava didn’t dare look at Jeremy. She knew her cheeks were red.
“Louis, Emily, I think now is the time for us to meet my mother. You want to accompany her to therapy, right?”
The twins nodded.
“But can I brush my hair first, Ava? don’t like my hair in clumps like
this.”
While Emily weighed her hair in her palm, Ava took the brush from

Jeremy. Her laughter sounded light.
“Yes, after I fix your hair. Come here, Emily.”
Smiling, Emily turned around. “Oh, I feel like I have a second mother. Ava will definitely be a very good mother to her children.”
“Yes, indeed. That’s why we support Uncle in approaching her. Luckily they are dating and will get married soon. Uncle Jeremy finally has a happy little family.”
Jeremy’s heart tingled again. The hope offered by the twins was too promising. However, when he was about to reply, a guard came over with a serious expression.
“Sir, you have to see this.” He handed him his phone.
As Jeremy checked it with furrowed brows, Louis tilted his head, trying to peek. Before he could see the screen, Jeremy stood up.
“Prepare the car!” His voice was tense.
“What’s wrong, Jeremy?” Ava also stood up.
Jeremy held Ava’s arm, looking at her deeply. “Please don’t panic. I’ll handle it soon. Eva’s boutique is on fire.”
Ava’s eyes opened wide. Her chest felt tight. “Then Eva? Is she there? She must not have arrived at the boutique yet, right? She just left in her taxi.”
“Yes, most likely, she’s still on the way. But we need to go there to make sure.”
“Can we come, Uncle?” Emily tugged at Jeremy’s shirt.
Jeremy shook his head. “No, Twins You’re safer at home. Wait until your parents come to pick you up. I’ll call your father.”
“But we are also worried about Eva. We want to check her condition.”

Louis put on a pitiful look.
Ava stroked his chubby cheek. “Later when we get there, we will tell you everything. Now, I need your help to look after my mother. Can you do that? Keep this a secret from my mother. Don’t let her find out.
As the twins sighed in unison, Jeremy bent his knees, holding both of their shoulders. “This is not an ordinary incident, Twins. Eva’s boutique caught fire. There was a lot of smoke there and it’s not good for your health. Besides, if you go, who will look after Mrs. Connor?”
“Bryan can take care of her.” Louis pursed his lips.
“Then she will be disappointed because there is no one to accompany her to therapy. She was already sad enough because of Eva earlier. Do you have the heart to make her even sadder?”
Louis and Emily exchanged glances. Their fingers couldn’t stop tugging at each other’s trousers.
“I think Uncle is right. We’d better look after Mrs. Connor here. If we come along, we could cause more problems. Daddy and Mommy will also be worried,” Emily said in her small voice.
“You’re right. We also promised to accompany Mrs. Connor. She
might be suspicious if we don’t keep it.”
After a resigned sigh, Louis looked at Jeremy. “Okay, Uncle. We’ll stay here. Be careful there.”
Jeremy nodded. After notifying Frank, he drove to the crime scene.
When they arrived, several fire engines were still lined up. The officers no longer sprayed water. The fire was out and the building still stood, charred on several sides. However, everything inside was gone.
