S31 177. Hiking Together
Half an hour passed, Barbara was panting. Her face was red, covered
in beads of sweat.
“Are you tired?” Philip rubbed her forehead again.
“No.”
“Why don’t we rest for a while? With those red cheeks and that sigh, you look like you’ve had a night’s exercise. I don’t want any other men to see you like this.”
Barbara laughed faintly. “But we can’t rest in the middle of the stairs
like this. We could disturb other climbers.”
Philip pointed at a point, not far above them. “There’s a place to rest.”
“Okay, let’s have a seat there for a moment.”
Barbara quickened her pace even though her knees were shakin he
couldn’t wait to rest her feet.
As soon as she sat on a large rock, Barbara closed her eyes. out a long sigh. Her hands were clenched into fists, hitting her
which felt sore and itchy.
“Please don’t do that if there are other people around,” Philip said, handing her a bottle of water.
“Why?” Barbara opened her eyes again.
“Those sounds and expressions you usually make when we’re in bed.
I don’t want other men to fantasize.’
Barbara sighed in disbelief. “Did you just fantasize?”
“Just a moment, but I quickly dismissed it. We’ll be in trouble if my

snake gets up here.”
Shaking her head, Barbara took the bottle Philip offered. While she quenched her thirst, Philip crouched down, massaging her feet.
“How far is it still, Phil?” Barbara looked up at the peak.
Philip shook his head faintly. “Don’t just focus on the peak, Babe. Enjoy it step by step. It won’t feel tired.”
“Am I too excited?”
“Yes. Now catch your breath and enjoy the view. We don’t need to
rush.”.
Barbara nodded. Still with her mouth agape, she watched the sea which seemed wider in front of them. The atmosphere was peaceful until suddenly, a voice emerged from the stairs.
“It turns out you guys are resting here? I thought you were still climbing.”
Barbara let out another long sigh. “That girl again?”
Lazy to answer, Barbara looked away. Unexpectedly, Shania sat beside her.
“Why are you already tired? It’s too early for young people our age rest. Is it because you already have children? I heard that many women’s conditions decline after giving birth.”
Barbara glanced over with a strange expression. Philip understood
what she meant.
“Barbara works in front of gadgets more often. It’s natural that she gets tired more quickly than a traveler. It’s not a matter of age, but habit,” Philip muttered before looking up, meeting his wife’s brown
eyes.
“But with what you’ve achieved so far, I’m proud. You’ve improved a

lot, Babe. I thought you’d give up in the first hundred meters. Turns out you were able to pull through.” Philip smiled sweetly, melting
Barbara’s heart.
“It’s thanks to you, Phil. You trained me well so I became stronger.”
“Training you what? Night sports in bed, you mean?”
Barbara snorted and patted Philip on the shoulder. “Don’t speak impolitely.”
Shania rolled her eyes. However, seeing Philip’s joking laughter, she maintained her position.
“So, Philip, do you travel a lot? You look like a true explorer.”
Philip didn’t answer. He made eyes at Barbara, letting his wife do the talking. “Not really. Why did you ask?”
The corners of Shania’s lips twitched. “Just curious. He looks skilled, at using a kayak, navigating, and climbing. You see? He’s not panting. at all.”
With a small smile, Barbara rubbed her husband’s forehead. “T because he is strong and has stamina more than other people.”
“Do you often go to the gym?” Shania looked back at Philip.
“Not really,” Barbara answered again.
Shania instead leaned towards Philip. “What sport do you like?”
“Philip usually swims and jogs.”
Shania glanced at Barbara cynically, but Barbara smiled sweetly.” What else do you want to ask? I know everything about Philip.”
While gritting her teeth, Shania faked a laugh. “What about you? You don’t like sports at all?”
“I always accompany Philip in his free time, If he swims, I swim. If he
jogs, I

done Walk leisurely. The difference is, when I finish one lap, he has
done twenty laps. He says I am his motivation. The faster he runs, the sooner he’ll be able to get along with me again.”
Shania snorted a little. When she was about to open her mouth again, Barbara asked, “Are you a model?”
Shania’s eyebrows arched high. “Why do you think that? Is it because my body is proportional?”
Barbara shook her head then pointed at the cleavage that Shania had been showing off in front of Philip.
“You’ve worn a bikini twice.
“Bikini?” Shania laughed dismissively. “Don’t you understand fashion? This is a sport bra and this is hot pants. I get hot easily. So, I like wearing revealing clothes.”
“Not because you feel sexy and want to seduce men?”
Shania shook her head quickly. “I didn’t mean it like that. But men are always interested in these.”
Barbara’s eyes widened as Shania lifted her assets with bot and shook them slightly. “Maybe because mine is perfect, me can’t take their eyes off them. What do you think, Philip? Yo man. You must have the same opinion.”
Philip let out an annoyed sigh and glanced in another direction. Shaking his head, he rose to his feet. “Babe, are your feet still so
Can we continue now?”
