His Charming Wife novel Chapter 10

Federick Addington stood in front of her, frowning and sniffing.

There was the smell of smoke, wine, and the unique taste of a place filled with luxury.

Federick Addington's eyes darkened and he questioned, "Where did you go yesterday?"

"I went to the General's Token Club with Eli." Stella Grace did not lie.

She was upright and honest. She had a clear conscience.

Federick Addington said with disgust in his eyes, "You are disgusting!"

Stella Grace sneered. "Same as you."

She walked outside.

"Wait," Federick Addington said coldly.

Stella Grace looked back at him.

Federick Addington's cold eyes swept over the table. "Throw these things out. I think your dishes are filthy."

Stella Grace looked at him quietly.

She felt a sharp pain in her heart.

She was filthy, but yet she had only been with one man, and she was forced into it.

Fie was clean, but yet he had countless women. An anger rushed to her head from the bottom of her heart.

"You don't deserve my cooking." Stella Grace coldly walked toward the dining table and she smashed at the bowls.

The porcelain bowls crashed to the ground.

Food and soup flew everywhere.

Federick Addington grabbed Stella’s with a murderous look in his eyes.

Fie was very strong, as if he wanted to break her arm. Fie said darkly, "Clean this up before you leave."

"You must be dreaming," Stella Grace replied bluntly.

A murderous look flashed across Federick Addington’s eyes as he reached out to strangle her.

Stella Grace found herself suffocating, she looked at him with hate.

Their marriage was despicable, so it was better to end it this way.

If she died, he would have to go to hell with her.

It's better than being alone... Sad and depressed, with no one who knew how much she had suffered.

Stella’s mouth curled up into a charming smile.

It was full of poisonous vindication.

Federick Addington was startled at this, he loosened his grip.

Stella was so weak, she fell towards the floor and broke her fall using her hands.

Sharp pieces of gravel pierced her palms and blood flowed out.

Federick Addington looked down at her condescendingly. He frowned and a strange look flashed across his eyes. "Get out. Don't come here again."

Stella Grace stood up and lowered her eyes. She clenched her fists and blood dripped on the ground, leaving behind devilish red stains.

She walked out of the door without looking back at him.

Your sadness, when seen by your loved ones, will give them pain; when seen by your enemies, it will give them joy; but when seen by those who do not know you, it will become their source of gossip.

She did not want to look weak, she did not want to cry.

Stella washed her hands at a pharmacy, bought some plaster, and clean her wounds on her own.

Eli Wayne called her on the phone. "Stella, I'm at your house. When are you coming back?"

Stella Grace also had things to ask Eli. What exactly happened to her? How did she end up at the soldier’s place? "I'll be back soon."

After a while, Stella Grace walked out of the elevator.

Eli Wayne looked at her face.

Stella did not look well, and Eli’s heart skipped a beat. "What happened to me last night, Eli?" Stella Grace demanded.

"Well, I was drunk last night as well. I don't know what happened. I was just about to ask you?" Eli Wayne said with a hint of guilt.

Stella did not know what to say.
