His Destructive, Toxic Love novel Chapter 363

Eliza laughed, but it was the kind of laugh that was both mocking and sad.

"I want your heart. Will you give it to me?" she asked.

"My heart's been yours for a long time," he said, taking her small hand and placing it over his strong, steady heartbeat. "Listen, it's beating just for you."

Eliza pulled her hand back, disgusted. She sneered, "I can't see it."

Casper frowned slightly. Did she really want his beating heart? Because he would give it to her if she asked.

"Right now?" He picked up a kitchen knife from the bedside table, the cold blade pointed at his chest. "I can give it to you."

See, Casper was that crazy. If she said yes, would he actually stab himself? And if he could stab himself, could he stab her too?

She didn't want to be with someone this emotionally unstable. "Casper, do you think I could ever want you like this?"

"Then what kind of me do you want?" he asked, looking at her helplessly. He was willing to give her his life, what more did she want? "Tell me."

She didn't want to tell him. She had no interest in hashing this out. "Don't you think our relationship is twisted?"

One of them was desperately trying to escape, while the other was relentlessly chasing.

"Casper, are you saying that all the women in the world are gone, and you’re stuck on me?"

He had no idea why he was so wrapped up in these indescribable feelings. It wasn't like he didn't have better options. With just a wave of his hand, women would line up to be with him. But ever since that one time with her, his heart felt like it was being pulled by some mysterious force, and he couldn't let go.

He admitted it—he was a bit obsessive. But this obsession wasn't without reason; it came from a deep-seated longing and a stubborn desire for that inexplicable feeling. They had to be together, no matter what.

"Yes," he said, his voice hoarse, his Adam’s apple burning. Even his breaths seemed to carry the intent of not letting her go.
