His Destructive, Toxic Love novel Chapter 461

Eliza wasn't mad at Casper. She just didn't want to go out for dinner with him. The ghost of his kiss still lingered on her lips. He wasn't embarrassed, but she definitely was.

Just then, Dillon walked in.

Seeing Eliza, he gave a respectful nod, "Hello, Ms. Eliza."

After that, he quickly made his way over to Casper and whispered something in his ear. Their secretive conversation was beyond Eliza's hearing. Deciding she'd had enough, she took Brock's hand and left the room.

Inside, Dillon finished his report. Casper's face grew dark, his eyes sharp and filled with cold fury. "To think a father would want his own son dead over an illegitimate child. What a 'great' father he is."

"Has old Mr. Casper been misled by someone? Could it actually be Zach's doing? Or maybe..."

Even wild animals don't harm their own offspring. It was hard to believe Tristan would want Casper dead. After all, he was the rightful heir to Welton International, as designated by Jeffrey. It was baffling.

Yet, everyone they caught pointed to Tristan as the mastermind, making it hard not to believe it.

"Find a way to bring Zach out and keep an eye on my so-called father until I get back to Falconridge."

Casper vowed to settle the score for every scar on his body with both father and son.

"Understood."

After giving Dillon his instructions, Casper's face returned to a calm demeanor as he quickly exited the room to catch up with Eliza and Brock. Effortlessly, he lifted the little guy onto his shoulders, securing Brock's waist with one hand for safety, while naturally reaching out to hold Eliza's hand with the other.

Irritated, Eliza shook off his hand. "Can't you be serious for once?"

"It's not every day we get to have a meal together as a family," Casper said, a hint of hurt flashing across his face, but he still reached out for her.

Eliza quickened her pace to keep some distance from him. If it weren't for their son insisting on eating something nice, she'd rather be home sleeping right now.
