His Destructive, Toxic Love novel Chapter 466

Casper’s face was taut with anger, his jaw muscles twitching involuntarily. His dark eyes, narrowed to slits, exuded a ferocity that could swallow all darkness. Whoever was behind this, anyone responsible for what happened to Eliza, would face his wrath.

The next day, Casper had been waiting at the hospital for hours before Dillon finally showed up. Dillon's heavy steps and furrowed brow hinted at bad news.

“Mr. Casper, we have a lead,” Dillon said, his voice tinged with urgency.

“Spill it,” Casper demanded, his gaze intense.

Dillon nodded and quickly relayed the findings. “The juice was delivered from the restaurant, but not by them directly.”

Casper’s eyes sharpened. “Explain.”

“The juice was sent by a customer, under the name Mr. Aaron.”

Casper’s brow furrowed. “Aaron? Has he been to that restaurant?”

Dillon shook his head. “The front desk said a woman gave Mr. Aaron’s name.”

“I reviewed the restaurant’s surveillance footage. It was Ms. Susan who delivered those two glasses of juice. I watched closely—she definitely put something in the juice. I suspect it’s the same hallucinogen found in Ms. Eliza’s blood.”

Casper clenched his fists. Susan. She must have a death wish.

“Her audacity, daring to harm one of mine,” he growled, slamming his hand on the bedside table. The force yanked the IV needle from his hand, blood instantly staining his skin.
