His Destructive, Toxic Love novel Chapter 591

Suddenly, Dillon yanked her to the side, pulling her into a hidden corner.

Eliza was caught off guard. “What’s going on?” she whispered, her voice laced with confusion.

“Shh,” Dillon cautioned.

It wasn’t Casper who appeared but a group of men who looked like guards. It was clear now—their meeting spot had been compromised.

Once the men left, Dillon quickly led Eliza to the car. “We’ve got to bail on this meeting. It’s too risky. Let’s head back.”

“No, I won’t go back,” Eliza insisted, her voice edged with desperation. “Casper must be in danger. How else would anyone know about our secret spot?”

That was precisely why they couldn’t linger. Dillon was set on getting Eliza to safety first. He knew Casper, even in danger, could fend for himself.

“I’ll figure out a way to meet up with Mr. Casper, but we need to get out of here now.”

“Dillon,” she said, anxiety threading through her words, her fingers trembling, “Are you sure Casper’s okay?”

“Yes,” Dillon replied, his tone firm.

Even with his assurance, Eliza’s heart raced with worry. The thought of Casper, potentially safe but likely subjected to cruelty, gnawed at her.

“Dillon, do you think Casper could have…”

“We’ll talk once we’re back,” Dillon cut in, urgency in his voice, as he guided them away from the danger zone.

Back at their place, Dillon gave Eliza a few quick instructions before heading out again.

Barely had he left when a shadowy group burst through the door. Eliza darted upstairs, but they were fast. Too fast.

They covered her mouth and nose with swift precision, and darkness overtook her.
