Nevertheless, it was still quite busy because the company wanted to end the year with a bang just like most businesses during this period. "I’m coming to pick you up right now," he told her.

"No problem. I’ll come up and join you. I’m familiar with them anyway. Do you mind?"

Her heart skipped a beat while a foolish smile spread across her face. She tried to hide it but her assistant and the other employees had already seen her. A knowing look passed between all of them when they stole glances at her.

"Of course, it’s okay with me. I would love to show you around my workplace. But, uhm, is it okay with you? You’ve never shown yourself here whenever you come to pick me up before."

"I said I’m coming so of course I’m okay with it. I’ll be there in about ten minutes. Inform someone of my arrival. I don’t want to fucking waste my time checking in at the reception desk."

"Uhm, I’ll meet you at the lobby myself."

"Okay, good. See you."
