Iris and Jin Liwei took the twins to wash off the paint from their hands before changing the children's clothes. Little Mochi and Little Matcha wore red and blue bowties respectively. The husband and wife also freshened up afterwards.

It took Iris some time to finish getting ready. When she came out, Dom had already changed the collars of the cats and dogs.

Compared to Popcorn and the two dogs, Ice Cream wore a bejewelled platinum collar. The grumpy, fat, lazy cat had her chin tilted up higher than usual as if looking down on mere mortals.

The family finally sat down on the large sofa.

Iris and Jin Liwei sat together. Jin Liwei held both of their twin sons, Little Mochi and Little Matcha, on his lap. Iris held a large tablet. The screen showed Ketchup and Bacon sitting side by side.

Ice Cream sat on Iris' other side while Popcorn sat on Jin Liwei's other side.

The guard dogs, Pudding and Chowder, framed the whole family's sides while sitting on the floor.

Dom held the instant camera and instructed the family on how to pose. Instead of taking just one, he took multiple pictures. After the self-developing film ran out, Dom took out his phone and continued snapping photos of the family.

Originally, Iris had only planned on taking a quick family photo to send to Grandpa Lu's old astronomer friend as an attachment to the thank-you card. But with Dom's involvement in the matter, it suddenly evolved into a full-blown photoshoot.

In the end, the kids, cats, and dogs lost patience and began playing on one side. Iris and Jin Liwei tried persuading them to sit properly, but after a few times, they gave up.

Dom took candid shots of every single moment. Almost all of the latter photos were chaotic.

Iris loved all of them after seeing the shots on Dom's phone.

"Send everything to me, Dom," she said. "I want to choose some shots and have them framed."

"Okie dokie, boss!" Dom gave her a thumbs up. "I also want to choose some photos to update your social media."

"Remember to cover up the twins' faces."

"Of course, boss! Don't worry! I know what to do."

While Dom was scrolling on his phone, Iris and Jin Liwei gathered the instant camera photos to choose which ones to send to the old astronomer. Jin Liwei chose the most formal one while Iris chose the shot where they all were smiling. Even the dogs and cats looked like they were smiling except for Ice Cream who always looked haughty and grumpy at the same time.

"Let's send this one, then," Jin Liwei said and took his wife's choice.

"But I also like this one," Iris said, taking her husband's choice.

"Just send both of them," Dom suggested.

"Good idea!" Iris smiled.

"En." Jin Liwei didn't care that much. No matter what, his wife always looked beautiful.

Iris wrote some words of gratitude on both photos before slipping them with the thank-you card. Then she handed the envelope to Dom.

"Help me send this to Grandpa Lu's astronomer friend," Iris said. "Also include some other thank-you gifts."
