Chapter 20
Sylvia smiled as she arranged the strawberries one by one, and then took out a box of instant food,
opened it, and cooked it to eat.
It has been a long time since I last ate instant food. I used to feel happy eating, instant food as long as
I was with someone I liked,
In the evening, Quentin came back.
She was huddled on the sofa in the living room, and when she saw him come back, she immediately
stood up,
“How was the meal?”
Quentin nodded and glanced at the food bags in the kitchen while changing his shoes.
“Do you only eat instant food at night?”
Sylvia bit her lip with a hint of embarrassment.
“I just need to eat something casually by myself, and I haven’t had instant food for a long time. Instant food is also quite delicious.”
Quentin shook his head in resignation.
“How can we just have instant food for dinner? From now on, I will come back for dinner in the evening, so you don’t have to deal with it randomly again.”
As she listened to his concerned words, Sylvia’s eyes immediately turned red.
In the past, he used to mutter to himself like this too.
He was only two years older than her, but he appeared much more mature and sophisticated.
Over the years they were together, he had always been taking care of her.
He would make her wear more clothes to avoid catching a cold, would prepare milk for her every day, and would cook her favorite dishes every day.
Before he passed away, she couldn’t cook at all.
And during those five years, she stayed by Sergio’s side and learned all these caregiving skills.
Strange, she suddenly remembered Sergio again.
Love and being loved is truly a cycle, and it is the wicked hand of fate that controls this cycle.

Sylvia shook her head and dismissed the strange thought from her mind.
The next morning, Sylvia saw Sergio waiting downstairs as soon as she stepped out.
He seemed to have waited for a long time, and dew had even stained his long eyelashes.
His appearance has always been outstanding, with a tall and slender figure, delicate facial features.
Standing in this neighborhood, he stands out from the people around him.
Seeing her appear, Sergio excitedly walked towards her with breakfast in his hands.
“Syl!”
He handed the breakfast in his hand to her, with a slightly pleasing tone.
“These are all the things you loved to eat, and I personally went to buy them.”
Looking at the breakfast placed in front of her, Sylvia couldn’t manage to force a smile on her face.
She sighed helplessly and said once again with solemnity.
“I have already told you, don’t come to me again, why don’t you just listen?”
Sergio seemed hurt, rarely being so humble, as he was always proud.
____““I just wanted to be a little nicer to you.”
Sylvia pushed his hand away.
“I have already said, I don’t need you to be good to me.”
“Sergio, I’ll say it again, I won’t forgive you because I haven’t blamed you.”
“Everything in the past has passed, and now I have already started a new life. I hope you have too, okay?”
Her tone carried a hint of impatience, and this time even Sergio himself noticed.
