Chapter 9
After throwing these away, Lilyana felt completely relaxed.
She smiled relieved, scanning everyone in the room, and declared loudly, “Coincidentally, everyone present here today is a prominent figure in the circle. Let Lilyana be my witness, from now on, I will no longer follow behind the Marquez family’s three brothers, nor will I ever seek them out again! I have no more connection with these three individuals from this moment
onwards!”
Having finished everything, she turned around and was about to leave.
Branden, Braxton, and Deven only just now realized what was happening. Branden grabbed Lilyana tightly and angrily exclaimed, “Lilyana, stop playing around! Aren’t you afraid that we will elope tomorrow?!”
They were fierce and intimidating, but if you listened carefully, there was a slight tremor in their
tone.
Lilyana turned calmly and said, “The groom is none of you, you are just guests, whether you come or not, I don’t care.”
After saying that, she didn’t care about their expressions and walked away directly.
On the wedding day, the Marquez family, consisting of three brothers, arrived at the wedding venue with Violet and a few other siblings.
The wedding scene was adorned with countless flowers, and various expensive decorations were casually placed, making everything beautifully decorated.
Even the nameplate on the table was carefully designed, giving off an elegant and unique vibe.
One of the brothers, feeling a bit uncertain, spoke with some doubt, “Why does it feel like this wedding is being done so perfectly? If it’s just a ploy, it wouldn’t have been done to this extent, right? Could it be that one of you three really is marrying Lilyana?”
As soon as these words were spoken, Branden, Braxton, and Deven’s faces all changed.
But soon, they coldly denied it.
“It was impossible for the Marquez family to marry into the Fitzgerald family. Besides the three of us, who else could she marry?”
“Yes, she did this today, just to force us to marry her, right? Let’s wait and see her embarrassment later!”

“The more grand it was held, the more it would become the laughingstock of the whole city later.”
Although the words were harsh, Violet sensed their concern and panic for Lilyana, and her heart sank deeply.
It seems like everything has changed since Lilyana sent out those three boxes yesterday.
She couldn’t help but start to fear that her previous act of taking credit for Lilyana during the earthquake would be discovered, so she forced a smile.
“Ms. Fitzgerald was a proud person. She had been pursuing you for so long, how could she just give up like that? Right now, she is probably just putting on a show and pretending to give up.”
The three of them absentmindedly nodded.
In the melodious and romantic piano music, the emcee announced, “Please welcome the bride’s parents with the bride on stage!”
The gate opened with a bang, Lilyana walked slowly, holding her parents‘ hands, one on each side.
The layers of pure white wedding dress made her look immaculate and radiant, showcasing her superior beauty perfectly.
The moment she walked out, everyone felt their heartbeats slow down by half a beat.
The Marquez brothers all had a moment of astonishment in their eyes, but immediately suppressed
After the bride went on stage, the emcee promptly announced the groom’s arrival.
“Please welcome the groom to the stage!”
One second, five seconds, ten seconds…
I don’t know how long it had been, but the groom was still not showing up.
The three brothers visibly breathed a sigh of relief.
Branden smirked and said, “Lilyana, you’ve been acting for so long, isn’t it enough?”
Braxton coldly smirked and clapped his hands, summoning a few bodyguards. “Lilyana, since you insist on going against everyone’s wishes, we no longer need to consider your reputation. Do you remember what I said before? If you insist on having a wedding, then go ahead, and I will ruin it!”
