Chapter 12
From January to December, for thirty days, it was all provocation like this.
Donte had been consumed by overwhelming anger.
He was full of heart and eyes, with only one last thought left.
Went to find Phoebe to settle accounts.
He sped all the way back home, and as soon as he got out of the car, he saw the luggage piled up at the doorstep.
Phoebe was directing a few servants to move things when she saw him coming back, and immediately twisted her waist and approached him.
“How come you’re back? Are you still unable to bear leaving me? Then give me a kiss, and I’ll stay.”
Unable to resist any longer, Donte couldn’t help but gaze at the enchanting face that was so close.
He raised his hand and with all his strength, he fiercely slapped her.
With a loud smack, Phoebe was slapped and fell heavily to the ground. Her fair face turned crimson and swelled up.
She raised her head in disbelief, her voice trembling with tears.
“Donte, why did you hit me?”
Donte was so angry that he couldn’t even speak.
He threw the phone onto her, his eyes filled with a cold glare.
Phoebe picked up the phone, crying. In the moment she saw the screen, her hair stood on end and
she couldn’t help but shiver.
In an instant, countless thoughts flashed through her mind as she explained in a flustered manner.
“Donte, I can explain, actually, it was Maeve who told me, she had known about you pretending to
have amnesia a long time ago, I was just too in love with you, that’s why I made a mistake.”
These words, for Donte at this moment, were like adding fuel to the fire.
He lost control of his emotions and forcefully pulled her up, tightly gripping her throat.
The strong suffocating feeling made Phoebe struggle desperately, and the sharp nails left countless
wounds on his hands.

He, however, seemed to not feel any pain, as he continued to exert force on his hands.
Her face turned from red to blue, gradually revealing a purple hue.
Those eyes, filled with despair, slowly swelled up and emitted a lifeless aura.
Just as Phoebe thought she was about to be strangled to death, several brothers arrived late and were so frightened by the scene that their faces turned pale. They quickly rushed forward to rescue
her.
The cold air rushed into her throat, and she couldn’t help but cough loudly.
Donte, who had already lost his sanity, refused to give up and fiercely struggled to break free from the grip of several people.
The brothers who were punched several times were in great pain, but they dared not let go.
“Donte, calm down! The immediate priority now is to find Maeve.”
“Yes, yes, she was in our hands, there was still time to settle the score later.”
Upon hearing these words, Donte finally stopped his hands.
He cast a final glance at the woman lying on the ground, his voice chillingly eerie.
“Take her to Gavin’s place and take good care of her.”
Upon hearing this name, Phoebe, who was previously in a daze, suddenly became alert.
