Chapter 275
Dr. Mason was torn after hearing this. “This…this two centimeter gap is too difficult, I can’t do it.”
Aria smiled and said, “It’s okay, I will tell you how to make the incision.”
Lucian looked at Aría, his intuition telling him that she was not just a young doctor who knew nothing.
Seraphina couldn’t sit still as she watched Lucian about to be convinced. She stood up and exclaimed, “Dr. Ashworth, are you out of your mind? This is a matter of life and death, not a game!”
“What, can Dr. Cross possibly perform this surgery?”
“I…”
“Since you can’t do it, just keep quiet. With Dr. Cross’s medical qualifications abroad, you should be able to understand what I said earlier, right?”
Aria didn’t give her a good face, and her words made her lose face in public.
The rest of the people, although they questioned, never expressed their own opinions, indicating that what Aria said earlier was agreed upon by other doctors.
Not to mention that neither of the two experts had ever interrupted Aria.
Seraphina really lost face with this move, and her abilities were even questioned.
“Okay,” Lucian struggled internally but ultimately chose to trust her, “I’ll give you one chance, but you better follow through. You must ensure the safety of my mate during this surgery. Otherwise, not only will this hospital pay the price, but you will too!”
His lycan authority carried the weight of ancient power, a threat that went beyond mere legal consequences.
Lucian left, leaving only his beta to handle tomorrow’s surgery arrangements.
Aria walked out of the meeting room and ran into Kane and Lucian’s beta in the hallway.
A pillar of light fell on him, casting a refined and handsome face, mesmerizing and captivating.
“Kane!” Seraphina called out, pushing past Aria to run towards Kane.
Kane turned his head, but his gaze went beyond Seraphina and straight towards Aria.
Aria shifted her gaze indifferently and was about to leave when Dr. Mason called out to her from behind, “Dr. Ashworth.”
She turned around and Dr. Mason walked straight towards her, whispering to her about tomorrow’s surgery, his face full of worry. “Dr. Ashworth, are you sure you can really perform this surgery? It’s one thing if there are no blood vessels before and after, but removing the tumor in such a small space, I really don’t have confidence.”
Aria patted his shoulder and said, “You can do it. You have rich clinical experience and have performed so many craniotomies. I believe you are confident in your precision and strength when it comes to surgery.”
“But this is different.”
“Just trust me, I won’t you ruin your reputation for nothing.”
Dr. Mason felt somewhat reassured as he watched her so confident, nodding his head, “Well, then, I’ll follow your lead on what to do tomorrow.”
Aria left with Dr. Mason.
