Chapter 351
Kane rubbed his nose bridge, looking a bit annoyed.
She used to cry in the past. Back then, he would feel soft–hearted and sympathetic. But now, a woman who often cries at the drop of a hat only annoys him.
Seeing Kane didn’t have any intention of comforting herself, Seraphina gradually fell silent.
Margaret brought two maids, both of them looked scared and didn’t dare to lift their heads. They didn’t take care of the kid properly first, and now faced with the powerful Alpha–they were extremely terrified.
Kane glanced at the two of them. “Why was Jasper at the edge of the pool? Where were you guys at that time?”
A nanny shook her head and cautiously looked up. “He has always been alone in the yard these days, not letting us follow him. We thought he would come back soon, we really didn’t know he would go to the pool.”
“Yeah, especially since his mother came to see him today, we never thought something would happen.”
Seraphina’s expression changed slightly, worried that it might involve her. She quickly said, “Kane, I can tell that Jasper has been unhappy these days. Last time I heard Selena say that Aria met Jasper alone.”
“I don’t know if she said anything to Jasper. Of course I believe she wouldn’t do that, but I’m really worried about Jasper’s abnormal behavior.”
“What could she say?” Kane turned to look at her.
Seraphina choked up and said cautiously, “She hates me so much, she probably won’t accept Jasper.”
Margaret chuckled. “Ms. Cross is biased. If Luna really wanted to bully Jasper, with how much Elder Eleanor loves her, she would have kicked Jasper out a long time ago. Can’t even talk about accepting it.”
“But… all of this was told to me by Selena. Selena said she saw it with her own eyes, which I didn’t want to believe.”
Seraphina pretended to look hesitant.
Before Kane could say anything, Margaret told the servant to call Selena.
Not long after, Selena followed behind the servant. She walked towards Kane, glanced at Seraphina, looking a bit complicated. “Cousin, are you looking for me?”
