Fade held a bag of toys as he entered the hotel. It made him look as if he had just done some shopping.
"Fade, you're back. Your Royal Highness is looking for you!" A servant came up to greet him and said in a hurry.
"I'll be right there!" Fade nodded and walked towards Jovian's room.
"It's me, Fade, Your Royal Highness." Fade shouted as he knocked on the door.
Jovian's voice came from inside the room. "Fade! Please, come in."
Fade pushed open the door and entered. The first person he saw was not Jovian, but a beautiful young lady. She got up and approached him.
"Fade, you're back!"
Fade could not help but be stunned when he saw the girl in front of him.
That was because the young lady was none other than Eurika, whom he met in the palace a few days ago. She was also Ricki Hsia's daughter.
"Princess Eurika, what are you..."
Eurika looked at Fade, then at Jovian. She explained, "Fade, I need your help. That's why I came here to look for you. I don't know if you..."
"Er..." Fade did not answer, but looked at Jovian.
Jovian got up and said with a smile, "Fade, Princess Eurika needs your help. Please do what you can."
"Yes, Your Royal Highness!" Fade cupped one hand in the other before his chest and looked at Eurika.
Eurika looked at Fade and said, "Fade, here's the thing. You're a Chinese and you're from West Region City. I need you to help me find someone."
"Who is it?" asked Fade.
Eurika seemed to be a little hesitant. She unconsciously lowered her voice and said, "I told you last time, remember? I used to have a helper, who is Chinese."
"She's also from West Region City. She left home nearly ten years ago. She has not been in touch with anyone back home, not even her friends and relatives."
"She heard that a group of Chinese people from West Region City were in town. So, I need your help to see if you can locate any of her friends or relatives."
Hearing this, Fade's heart skipped a beat.
"Her helper left West Region City ten years ago and worked for Mr. Ricki? Could it be...." Fade thought to himself.
"Do you know the name of her relatives or friends? Can you give me some leads?" Fade asked.
Eurika said, "My helper once told me she has a younger sister. Her name is Yola and she married a Chinese man. They have two children, a boy and a girl. The boy's name is Trevor, while the girl is called Jevelyn. They should be around 15 years old."
"It really is..." Fade's heart skipped a beat. He thought of Trevor and Jevelyn, who had come to the city with him to look for their aunt.
Trevor and Jevelyn did mention that they had an aunt. They told him that she was taken away by the higher uppers because she was beautiful. She was then brought to the capital city.
They probably did not expect that their aunt would end up working in the governor's mansion.
"This..."
When Eurika saw the look on Fade's face, she asked carefully, "I've given you too little information, haven't I?"
Fade shook his head and said, "No, it's not that. I have enough information. I should be able to help you."
"Then I'll leave it to you," Eurika said and then explained, "My helper treats me very well. I want to help her."
"Alright, you can leave it me." Fade nodded. Then, he thought of something and added, "By the way, Princess Eurika, what's the name of your helper?
Eurika replied, "Her name is Yammy."
When Fade heard the name, he was completely certain that the helper Eurika was referring to was Trevor and Jevelyn's aunt.
However, Fade did not inform her. He just agreed to help her look for Yammy.
This was because Yammy had been forcefully taken away. Although she was now working in the governor's mansion and was Eurika's helper, her status was not low.
