There was a new desk and chair in the back row. Lenore was tall and perfectly positioned to see the blackboard.

It’s by the window, Good spot, Lenore thought. She strolled over took her time hanging up her backpack, tossed her books. onto the desk, and casually pulled the chair out with her foot, With a graceful cross of her legs, she sat down.

Every movement she made was effortless and captivating. A relaxed, easygoing energy surrounded her, yet it somehow commanded respect. The entire class was glued to her, and the only sound was their quiet breathing.

Lance held his breath, sneaking glances back at her, feeling sorry for Kyle for skipping class and missing the chance to see their stunning new classmate.
