When Lenore spotted Silas and Wayne, she wasn’t surprised at all. She casually pushed her cap back, her sharp eyes revealing complete indifference. “What’s up?” she drawled lazily

They issued a warning, but the car showed no signs of stopping barreled through the barricade, charging forward with reckless arrogance.

Silas’s eyebrow shot up as he caught on. “Get out of the car,” he ordered coldly. Chuck blinked, still stunned.

Twenty seconds later, headlights flickered and engines roared in the distance. As the approaching car saw the one blocking the road, it screeched to a halt. The driver jumped out, instantly furious.
