Tarquin's voice was as cold as ice, making the three women shiver collectively, none daring to utter a word in response.
Elysia looked at him, surprised. "What are you doing here?"
The moment Tarquin turned his gaze towards her, the hostility in his eyes vanished, replaced with a tenderness that was night and day from his earlier demeanor.
He didn't explain himself but instead asked, "Are you hurt?"
He had been sitting in his car the whole time, watching Elysia argue with the company's security for a while before she walked away. He then saw a few women approach her.
They were too far for him to catch their words.

He rushed over just in time to hear them hurling insults, questioning who gave his Elysia the audacity to be so bold!

Tarquin's heart burned with a raging fury. He wasn't murderous, but he was certainly in the mood to make them suffer!
However, from the moment Elysia saw him, she couldn't care less about Daphne.
Her mind was all about Tarquin!
This was Tarquin's territory, and his sudden appearance made her nervous.
She feared that encountering the powerful Tarquin might somehow hurt him!
Elysia, without a word, grabbed his hand and walked away.
